Someone irl said to me that Nicholham has become a secret indulgence for them.

That makes me both happy and sad.

I'm glad my creation is making someone happy and that the fic is really special to them, which makes it all worth it. It's become their main interest, which is honestly an honor.

But it's sad because they have a bunch of homophobic friends, so they can kind of relate to the main theme of the fic. None of their friends know of their identity and they have to deal with their friends saying mean things about the LGBTQ+ all the time.

My fic is meant to represent our queer history in a sense, but with the recent stuff going on, it's becoming more and more like our modern world.

Something someone pointed out to me is that in chapter 10 Abraham was only beginning to accept his feelings but then in chapter 11 he started calling Nick "my love".

There is at least a few months difference there, maybe even a year. Abraham says it without even realizing it half the time.

I do realize now that yeah it doesn't really makes sense but I suck at consistency so whatever

In terms of color they probably just take turns being each one. They both aren't particular or picky.

Thinking about the fact I made my version of Abraham ace but I don't know if it's because I actually want him to be ace or if I'm just traumatized from my own past and am projecting that onto him.

But then also I made Nick be freaky as hell and it's really funny. I don't really project onto him though I just add things to his character as a joke and then make it canon.

Coffee and Tea announcement!!

The storyline has been going pretty far off from my original plans, and as much as I'm happy that they're all cute and stuff, the plot feels too rushed and I feel like I haven't properly fleshed out Nick's character enough. It's too happy considering they live in a dark time, plus I need to write in Abraham’s disability somehow and I haven't figured it out yet.

Because of this some chapters will be getting reworked and there will be major changes to the storyline. For now CaT is on hiatus while I work this stuff out.

Reworked chapters will just be edited on ao3 and I'll make a proper plan for the rest of the lore. CaT art will still be made, the story just needs a bit of work.
