A fantasy middle ages setting

Some kind of tournament between knights where they do the sword fight one on one

There are two knights that just fuck up all of their opponents. Like two really huge fellas like 1.90meters really buff

In the finally they face each other and start the fight

They are basically exactly of the same strength and cannot beat each other for like a bunch of time and fight into complete ecstasy

The crowd figures that there won't be a winner so they call it a draw

The two knights by now at the end of their strength just crash to the floor out of exhaustion

Both thinking like "damn that was hot" standing back up and be like "hey wanna go grab a drink" and so they do both kinda flustered

So they keep together trough the night get drunk tell each other how fucking awesome the other one is and decide to keep traveling together

And so they do and they have a really strong respect for each other cause they know about each other that they are very strong honorable warriors

With several more huge epic battles where they always have each others back they grow closer and being cheeky and flirting during the heat of the battle and flustered about what they said afterwards

And they realise that they're in love with each other but they don't tell the other woch makes things even more ankward for a while

Finally one confesses to the other and realise that the other one feels the same

So they live happily ever after and they love each other very much and have a really really strong respect for each other because of what a awesome warrior both think the other one is and they fight a whole lotta more epic battles together and tell each other how awesome they are

No special combination of genders just imagine then with whatever genders please your fency

Optional: make one of them a (hot)(half)orc to add a extra layer of respect because the orc didn't think they would ever find a human that could reach the strength of a orc

anytime my brain gets momentarily annoyed by the phrase "bless you" (in response to sneezing) due to its obvious religious origins, i immediately remember that the word "goodbye" is itself a contraction of "god be with you," a fact which leads me to two immediate conclusions, namely:

the historic influence of religion on language is vast and inextricable or leastway cannot be removed without significant and purposeful transformation of modern parlance

more importantly: if "god be with you" can be shortened into "goodbye" then there is nothing stopping us from abbreviating "bless you" into something equally unrecognizable, the suggestion box is now open
