treat your GD gamemodes well!

pet your wave! pet your robot! pet your ship! pet your swing! pet all the gamemodes!

this is a big part of being good at GD that gets overlooked actually! if you don't treat your gamemodes with care, that will reflect in finding those gamemodes more difficult to control!

many pro players treat their gamemodes with respect. especially their waves and ships, since they tend to get the hardest work in gameplay. how do you think people get so good at ship control? you think a neglected ship is gonna want to work with their owner?

yesterday, i went to search for a level a chill, wave-only easy demon only to realise. i don't know of any levels like that but i specifically remember i was going to search for this level below.
