i just wanted to say ive loved your deltarune fics so much for a few years now! i see myself in the way you represent kris, i even left a comment about it on ao3 for one of them about being otherkin and some other things i believe. as an otherkin 14 or 15 year old at the time who really enjoyed the idea of adventure and just acting Unapologetically Nonhuman In Real Life if i could, seeing kris just doing that and being Allowed to do that is so refreshing? i wish i could say it inspired me to embrace that part of myself more but unfortunately i havent really done so. still im now almost 17 and still loving your deltarune fics and i think thats a testament to how timeless they are. so im glad youre still writing and still helping people like me feel seen 🙏
(also the recent chapters just reaffirmed otherkin kris so hard?? or at least species dysphoric kris. i mean thats basically canon anyways but. that one part in chapter 4 with how the prophecy describes them. it doesnt directly call them human, i think ralsei calling them human couldve just been ralseis interpretation/simplification of it if the prophecy doesnt directly say that? i could be wrong and totally misremembering, but if im not the ambiguity feels very intentional. you can ignore this part of the ramble lmao 😭)
aww, thank you so much! this is WHY i write a lot of those fics, lol...they would've meant the world to me when i was younger but i have the power to create them NOW, put them out into the world for everyone else who might need them. it genuinely makes me so happy to know my fics about being nonhuman help and inspire other nonhumans to live their best lives <3

slowly poking away at my presumably dead arm fic...it is absolutely not a kralsei fic anymore but i think thats alright. ive had to cut like 2k words from it but what i have is hewing closest to what ive been picturing in my head since i first related this song to kris so im really hoping third time is, indeed, the charm.
it is VERY melancholic, is what im saying. which is good! thats my goal!!!! i just keep listening to depressing music while writing it which is helping a lot lol

oh nooo im so sorry lol. but yeah i feel this too, any dr fanworks that involve kris being like, 100% a human and cool with that i just simply can't really engage with. it truly just doesnt gel at ALL with how i interpret their character lol. thankfully most dr stuff tends to just not mention it at all which is good for me, tho of course im always on the lookout for more nonhuman kris stuff. which is to say always feel free to send that stuff my way lol.
