Whilst I was looking up aspect stuff I was consumed by the idea of an Equius that had fully awakened his void powers. What would that mean for him, to become void? tbh i don't really know the answer but I enjoyed imagining it as something like this.

I have been assigned a case to solve as the final assessment for this cultivation masters course. Our class was told that these cases are non-violent, low risk and low impact, suitable for those practising cultivation at a novice level. With my previous experience interning with Brother and Uncle, this seemed too easy. I was correct in this assumption. I have been paired with Wei Wuxian.

When I asked Brother to swap partners with someone else he refused and would not explain why. I did not like his smile, he is planning something. Infuriating. I just do not know why it is at my expense. Uncle, the only one who could change Brother’s mind, refused to hear me out. I understand that he does not want to undermine Brother’s authority, especially now that Brother has taken over the Masters program from him, but I feel like he has failed me. “Trust your brother’s judgement.” How could I possibly benefit from working with the class disruption?

Morning light shining in through shuttered windows, the kiss of the sun upon a foggy home. Sleepy, muffled noises, giggles, the kind that can be found emerging from under the covers of loving beds.

A laughed "Lan Zahn!", the cry of one that was woken up by his partner's lips upon his own. Another noise, deeper, this one pleased, then the combined sound of two men slipping out of bed.

Cloth rustling, as naked lovers dress for the day ahead, despite both wanting to stay within the other’s arms, safe, warm, loved .

Hey @river-of-light ! Here's my @mdzsgiftexchange art for you!! I hope you like it C;

I was super inspired by your prompts, and I immediately thought up this fusion au that really hit me in my interests lol. So this is a modern au where wwx and lwj are married archaeologists and they uncover this ancient buried tomb, and guess who's inside! Yeah it's their past forms they were 100% reincarnated and found each other again because they're soulmates lol.

This au is like totes not actually following proper archaeological procedure lol, maybe procedure is different in a world where cultivation is still being practiced. I imagine that wwx does demonic cultivation lite™ where he can sense resentful or demonic energy and prevent further degradation of bodies, maybe he can pop into their brains with Empathy and he then illustrates what their life was like afterwards. (I love the mental image of every museum having a demonic cultivator to preserve bodies, lqr would hate that lol). Lwj is still a Lan™ and had learnt like, spirit communication and veganism and how to be buff, though he mainly interviews spirits and writes up their field reports into Proper Academic Language to be published. Together they form an achaeology dream team lol. (Maybe the juniors are there as their field and lab assistants, maybe they're wangxians adopted kids, maybe they're both, you decide)

I'm imagining a sort of crosssver between real actually super preserved corpse Lady Dai (who had been buried for over 2000 years but was preserved so well it was like she'd just been buried) and like, weird demonic cultivation preservation. So when the dead wangxian are uncovered they don't look like skeletons lol. Living reincarnated wangxian are firstly like, 'holy shit they look like us', then go on to write up an incredible paper that wins them science awards or smth idk

How did ye olden wangxian die? Idk fam your choice, tho they defo were buried in the same tomb (lwj insisted on the ribbon and burial arrangements, wwx accidentally did the preservation cos he was just so full of that good good demon energy)

Winter Solstice gift for louzhan!

For @louzhan​. Ok so this is what I’m fondly referring to as my innocence project au, cos I recently watched the Netflix show and it inspired this. Basically in a modern au where everyone has a dragon shift, wwx is framed for something he didn’t commit and is sent to prison for like, 30 years or whatever. Wwx and lwj are working with the modern cultivation equivalent of the innocence project to try and get wwx found innocent and released. Lsz is like 4 during this fic, and in this au wangxian developed a braincell and got married when lsz was 2, then a year later wwx was framed when he was 3. Eventually wwx is released, but imagine that his prison stay is this au’s equivalent of him being dead 13 years lol, with an eventual happy ending.I was initially just gonna draw, but I got bit by the ‘write flirty letters’ bug so have this instead lol. I sort of mashed up your requests, but I hope you enjoy this anyway!

Hello @bees0are0awesome​, I have drawn 2 little aus for you, I hope you like them.

This is a modern, detective noire au, in which lwj is a detective famous for being incorruptible, and wwx is maybe skirting the wrong side of the law, untill he joins forces with lwj to solve the darker crimes.

This is a more sad gothic horror au, where lwj finds out that wwx is missing his core and somehow gives up his soul to replace it. He kinda just exists as a ghost in wwx’s belly. Some real depressing stuff, with a focus on the horror of giving yourself up to incredible extremes, and how that can do more harm than good.
