harry potter tag :)

hey ho hi. we thought it would be a good idea to answer these questions ao you get to know us a bit. my (screechy) answers will be written bold, paddys cursive. have fun! :)

1.) favourite book? - I think the first one. it’s the one which brought me in this fangirling-world. ; prisoner of azkaban, for sure

2.) least favourite book? - kinda the order of the phoenix, because it took me so long to read it... ; chamber of secrets, because first of I hate spiders and snakes and second of all hermione is petrified and yeah idk I just don’t like it

3.) favourite movie? - definitely the prisoner of azkaban, because I just love sirius and remus. ; my first answer would always be prisoner of azkaban because well I’m marauder’s trash no.1 and wolfstar and buckbeak and everything is so pretty and it’s the only movie, where dan’s hair actually looks like it’s supposed to be for harry but at the same time the sixth movie is also so good... ugh still third is the best

4.) least favourite movie? - I don’t really have a least favourite one. I love all of them, because they are beautifu in their own way. ; again chamber of secrets because of the storyline and yeah...

5.) favourite quote? -  “happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light” because it reminds me of my friends and candles. and i love my friends. and candles. ; hm probably “the ones who love us never really leave us” or “scared, potter?” because drarry all the way ;)

6.) favourite weasley? - fred and george, of course. I just love them so much ; fred and george or charlie because he seems so badass and just like the perfect older brother idk I just have very strong feelings about charlie weasley okay?

7.) favourite female character? - luna lovegood. she just fits me so good. ; either hermione, mcgonagall, luna or lily

8.) favourite male character? - sirius ; remus or sirius

9.) favourite death eater? - kinda bellatrix lestrange, she’s such a badass ; draco

10.) favourite professor? -  sprout, definitely ; lupin or macgonagall again just a badass lady

11.) would you rather wash snape’s hair or spend a day with lockhart rant about himself? - uhm, I would go with lockhart and I will just not listen to him if possible ; ew probably lockhart but I’m not sure if I’d get through that day without punching him

12.) would you rather duel an elated bellatrix or an angry molly? - molly, because I would be too afraid of bellatrix ; molly, because my mum reminds me of her when she’s angry so I know how to handle that ;)

13.) would you rather travel to hogwarts via the hogwarts express or the flying car? - hogwarts express, really? ; hogwarts express, duh.

14.) would you rather ride a hippogriff or ride a firebolt? - a hippogriff, because I really like animals and they’re so beautiful oh my gosh ; that’s a hard one but probably firebolt because you’re more in charge of a broom than of a living creature so yeah even though riding a hippogriff would be awesome

15.) would you rather kiss voldemort or give umbridge a bubble bath? - I would just kiss voldemort. I think it would be over faster ; again such a hard choice but kiss voldemort that’s over wayyyy faster

16.) is there a character you felt differently about in the movies? - ginny. she seems so brave and that stuff in the books to me but in the films she’s just that little sister ; yes, lily and the marauders. not only is the potters death scene wrong because both lily and james died when there where 21 that’s the tragedy not in ther late 30s (the actors are just way too old) and also in the scene where harry sees snapes memory the marauders and lily all look so ugly? but they had to be handsome don’t you think? I mean harry sure is so why would young james be that hideous when they look the same

17.) is there a movie you preferred to the books? - noup ; hm no I don’t think so

18.) richard harris or michael gambon as dumbledore? - I’m not sure, I think both are good dumbledores ; it’s hard to chose but at the same time richard harris did the job right - “he said calmly”... do I have to say more?

19.) your top thing (person or event) that wasn’t in the movie that you wanted there most? - that ron got prefect. I mean, come on. I was so happy for him! ; how awful snape treated not only the golden trio but especially neville I mean people who’ve only seen the movie will never how awful he really was so yeah wish that was in the movies even though alan rickman (rip) did a great snape) I also wished that both cedric and cho whould’ve appeard in the third film already like in the books sooooo

20.) if you could remake any of the harry potter movies which would it be? - no one, I guess ; probably just the scenes with lily and james and the young marauders

21.) which house were you sorted into? - into hufflepuff and I’m a very proud one - I got sorted into ravenclaw on pottermore but I also strongly identifiy as slytherin so a mixture of those two probably

22.) which class would be your favourite? ; I think herbology, because there is so much you can learn and it can really help you in the muggle world, too. I mean, you are not allowed to cast spells, but do something with some herbs? ; defence against the dark arts for all the reasons I mean learning to defeat yourself is so important but I think potions would be really fun too but I’d rather have slughorn as professor and I think history of magic could be a very interesting subject? same for astronomy I would love to have that

23.) which spell do you think would be the most fun to learn? - I think ‘accio’, because it would be the most helpful one ; yeah accio would be very useful but I would want to learn the paronus charm very badly

24.) which character do you think you’d instantly become friends with? - luna lovegood. I would listen to her stories every day and find it interesting ; luna or hermione or the young marauders all of them are just lovely characters but can be really tough and badass so

25.) if you could own one of the hallows, which would it be? - the invisibility cloak. I would be the best at hide and seek. ; I’d choose the invisibility cloak as well

26.) is there any aspect of the books you’d want to change? - why should I? ; well I didn’t really like the 19 years later thing like how they ended up together and let’s be real: james sirius? albus severus? lily luna? what the heck jo

27.) favourite marauder? - probably sirius or remus, I’m not sure, they’re both fantastic ; yeah prongs, moony or padfoot... probs moony though

28.) if you could bring one character back to life, which would it be? - fred weasley. my heart hurts every time I read something about george being alone and I cry every time fred dies. ; either sirius or dumbledore... probably sirius because harry needs that parental guidance from someone and yeah sure molly is there but still

29.) hallows or horcruxes? - hallows. my soul is way too important to me ; same, hallows

30.) hogwarts or ilvermorny? - hogwarts, obviously ; hogwarts, hogwarts, hoggy warty hogwarts, teach us something pleaseee

31.) golden trio, marauders or next generation? - I think marauders. there are so much things I want to know about them, but I don’t know these things. (wtf) ; marauders I just have a lot of feelings for those four boys and their story

32.) which quidditch position would you play as? - I’m not good at sports, but I think I would be a keeper. ; I’m more of a beater, really

33.) favourite magical creature/fantastic beast? - a bowtruckle. they’re so cute. and I love trees. ; I really loved the niffler but at the same time I think it’d be really annoying to have one but they’re so cute

34.) ministry of magic or macusa? - ministry of magic, I think ; ministry

35.) what would amorentia smell like to you? uhm I’m not sure. it would smell like trees, old tents, books and the streets after rain. ; I think it would smell like old books, like when you go into a libary and all you can smell is that nice old book smell uh then rain-wet-grass and freshly washed clothes probably maybe even some kind of flowery smell like roses or not idk
