The Beginning and Now

I went natural when I was 19. I went natural before it was a trend or the thing to do. And the only products that were available either made your hair greasy or hard and crunchy. I opted for the greasy because I knew it was moisturizing and the crunchy would be eventually damage my hair. I hated letting people touch my hair, especially if I was out on a date. They would have to wipe their hand off after touching my hair. This made me uncomfortable.

The first non-greasy product I used was Curls. This was before it was widely available at Target or Wal-mart. It worked for awhile, then I moved to Ouidad, it worked for awhile too. The product line I found after Ouidad was Devacurl. That was in 2011 and I strictly used DevaCurl products until May 2017.  

So now I am on a  new journey to find even better products for my hair.And I have also decided not to be exclusive to just one brand anymore.
