it would genuinely be so funny if gavilar was inexplicably alive. i don't have evidence for this or anything it's just a feeling born out of post secret history/BoM anxiety but come on the comedic impact of having ten different characters (probably) retell the story of your death only to show up during some third act conflict like SURPRISE !!!!! it's ME !!!

Okay it looks like the consensus on this is that it would have interested listeners!! I think I’m going to record it with my dad, who is a stormlight superfan (picture Dalinar forcing his children to sit and listen to readings from WoK).

Definitely other topics as well, and I would say by symbolism I’m thinking more like reoccurring themes and patterns throughout the text. Like symbolism within the world and how patterns build on each other over the course of the story. Just an overall chapter by chapter analysis
