"I didn't mean to, honest!" Aruni threw her hands up in defense, "everybody was acting way too weird and suspicious! And I thought it was another one of those secret evil society."
She took a deep breath and began to play with her cloak, "Turns out they weren't... and they just so happen to know the way to our destination..."
Xena rubbed her nose and stared at her friend, "You," she pointed an accusing finger at Aruni, "are an idiot."
"I know."
This was going to be a long day.
“What do you mean you ‘accidentally’ killed the entire pantheon?”

you can not tell me sonic and percy won't be gossip besties if they met
percy would go rant mode on just how shitty the gods are, and how he just wants a normal day with annabeth, his mom, his step-dad, his sister and camp-half blood friends and nothing goes wrong whatsoever
sonic nods along and say "mood"

the inability to connect to others,,,,, you have seen scars, you have seen how trauma breaks people, you have seen lovers hurt each other, you have seen friends destroying their friendships, you have seen men take advantage of dozen of young women and young girls, you have seen families broken, forever split never to be formed again, you have seen how every pain, every experience shaped a person, break them, make them the person they are today.
,,,,yet, it has never happened to you. you have the perfect family, the perfect lover, the perfect friends, not once did you ever bear a scar, you don't have any experience worth saying, worth sharing. you can never connect to the world that is moving forward while you are still stuck here, forever cursed to be a perfect person.
okay so, mary sues and literally perfect characters have sorta been on my mind lately, and i know i'm going to say nonsense but just wanna ramble for a bit
honestly, i think mary sues can be interesting and have depth if you look at them from this angle, imagine
you don't have any flaws, everyone loves you, you have your future forged, you get the boy or girl of everyone's dreams, you can master everything without breaking a sweat, you never struggled in their life, you have the perfect house, the perfect family, the embodiment of the "good student" the "good child" the "perfect child" the "perfect lover"
but.....
why are you so good at everything? why can't you struggle like everyone else? is it a blessing? is it a curse that you're as perfect as a flower while everyone else is flawed as a broken record? are you human? can you be considered a person for not having any flaws? are you just an accessory? an object that is forever perfect and never flawed? can you even have flaws?

A loud booming roar echoed throughout the forest. Luke heard, cries, screams, mourning, and other sounds that he can't identify.
A young girl stood in the middle of the lake, 'are you okay?' Luke wanted to ask, but he couldn't get a single noise out. She turned to look at him, her eyes, filled with souls swirling, screaming, crying. She opened her mouth,
"W̶̧̡̛̖̥̳̪̜̦̦̰̥͎͖͎̰̥͊͊̋̃̑͆̆̀̚͘͠ͅḩ̶̡̛̤̟͕̞͙͖͈̱̤̻̙͍̈̆͂̅̏̿͆̄͑̀̒͆͆̈́̈́̚̕͜͝͠͠ỵ̶̛̪͍̺͇̙͇̲͖̬̤̞͙͕̩̳̞͎̠̫̠̭͇͆̅̓̉͒̓͂̑͊͆̽̈́̀̅͛͋̏̚͜͠ ̸̡̡̡̢̨̟͉̣̟͎͖̩̪̠̗̖͙̦͎̦̝̼̻̺̓͒͗̈́͗͘d̴̢̨͉̜͍̗̬̱͍͆̾̽̇̀̇͐͑̌͌͒̚̕̚͝͝ỉ̵̤͇̱͖̤̖̮̣̹̳̦͂͜͜d̶̢̛͖͎̝̞́͊̉̊̓̓̈̍̀̒̆̎̈́͋͐̄̎͊̌̈́̈͋̚̕ ̶̧̨̛͙̦̳̟̙̗͍̞̯̮̦͇͉̺̪͕͇̳̂̀͊̋̓̓̇͘͜͜ý̷̡͇͎̖̺̭̫̤̥̮̦͖̼̳̟̻̝̘͎̺͍̖̺̤̗̖ͅọ̴̢̡͙̤͈͙̼͖̈́̈́͆͑͒̀̉͒̂̀͘͠u̷̧̢̨̡̧̲̹͇͖̹̠̱̦̟͖͉͖̺̞͂͛͆̈́̍͜ ̴̧̛͈͈̯̼̲̙̜̼͙͔̪͚̻̝͉̺̬̟̩̬̤͇̙̬͙̱̈́̏̈̅̃̓̉̀̅̀̀̿̌̌̔͑̒̕͘ļ̸̡̨̨̢̧͎̜̭̰̖̟̻̭̺̘̞̭͉̱̼̠̦̪͚̮̎͋́̄̃̈́̕͝͝ͅȩ̷̢̢͈͉̟̹̞͕͔̩̜͔̩̯͎̭̠̜̅̓̈́͋͂͆͌̄̓̿̈́̽͋̆̏̊̀͐̐̈́̃̐̓̉̂͝͝ͅt̴̢̛̲̞̻͈̞̫̤͍͙̠̤͇͉̣̲͚̺͛̔̈̿̐̌̄̔̍̃͗͋̈́̂͐̎̀́̀̒̎̆̓́̇̃͜͠ ̷̧̤̜̪̤͉̘̺̣͚̱̣̪̙̺̻̗̼͈̎̎͆̾͋̍̀̐̚͘̕̚͝ẗ̴̢̧̖̖̥͉͍͓̙̰̹̜̙̠̥̖̜̰̜̦̪͚͈̜̮̪́̑̃̂͗̏̽̈́͐h̴̡̨̰̯̲̘͙̜̠̗̹͕̠̦͂́͑̑͐̂̉́̇̏̍̍̚e̸͙̰̘͈̺̺̝͈̜̾͋͊ͅm̵̧̦̭̯͙̉̿̍̄̂̆̀̈́̋̿͗̉̅̐̏̏̈̍̊͌̂̌̈́͗̎̚͠?̸̨̡̗͓͍͙̤̗̬̻̝͖͉̤̠͎̗̯͔̑͜͝ͅ"

Luke yelped as he bumped his head on the top bunk, he looked around at his room. No forest. No cries. And definetly no girl on a lake-
Wait, huh???
A single key lay on his nightstand, as if it was patiently waiting for Luke. He grabbed the key, it's smooth golden surface showing his face.
At first, he assumed it to be his sister's, she almost never organise her toys. But looking closer, it didn't feel like a toy key. It felt like a real key, and a strange one at that.
"Luke" His mother's voice called from the kitchen, "Get up and eat!"
"Coming," he called back, he got down in his bed and hid the key in his drawer. Hoping his sister nor his mother won't find it.

kaya observed the music box in their grasp, they had found the box laying around their creator's dream? memories? they weren't really sure what to call the landscapes yet.
the landscape took form of that of a field, a large tree, a small swing, and a few critter friends.
the perfect place to enjoy when you want some time alone, they thought.
kaya twisted the handle of the music box, they closed their eyes and let the music take them away some place else.
the music reminded them of the calm, soothing rainy days, where your mother had recently made you a warm chocolate as you and your family play in-door games.
it reminded them of the nights where a mother would soothe her child to sleep after a particular nightmare.
they opened their eyes and saw that the music has stopped playing, the box closing itself as it hid itself from everything once again.
kaya smiled as they placed the music box down in the swing and hummed the tune of the box as the wind sang along with them.

There's not enough mama owl content on this fandom, so I'm doing it myself.
!TW!: Implied/Referenced Torture, Mentioned/Minor spoilers for Forces, IDW, and Frontiers
"Mama...? Are you there?" Sonic whispered, peeking his head in Longclaw's room.
"Sonic?" Longclaw eyed her little owlette, "What's
wrong?"
Sonic sniffed, wiping any tears that threatened to spill out, "Bad dream..."
"Can.... I stay here....?"
Longclaw nodded, "Okay, get in."
Sonic walked to Longclaw's makeshift nest, it was big enough for two or three people to fit in.
He laid down and observed his mama's room.
Various weapons hanged just across the room, he remember how he and Tails would beg Longclaw to let them play with it. But she always said no, and gave both of them wooden weapons (that was safe enough for two reckless kids to play with).
Sonic and Tails didn't mind it as they could play games that require weapons, though they both wished they had the real thing (but they both knew better than to anger Longclaw).
"Do you want to talk about it?" Longclaw's voice shook him out of his thoughts.
No. Sonic didn't want to talk about it. He didn't want to talk about how suffocating the silence and everything has been lately.
He didn't want to talk about how he could still feel the cyber corruption or the metal virus in his skin.
He didn't want to talk about how he could still hear Infinite's taunts on him, telling Sonic how much he failed, how weak and naive he was.
'Some type of hero you are,' Infinite sneered at the blue blur.
Sonic covered his mouth, trying to muffle his sniffles.

Mama's face softened, "Oh Sonic," she bought him into her arms and rocked him back and forth, humming a song she used to sing to him back in his childhood.

"I.....I don't want to be alo....ne," Sonic sobbed, "I don't want to be alone...."

"I'm here," Longclaw ran her claws through Sonic's quill, "I'm here."

It took Sonic awhile before calming down, and he wiped any remaining tears.

"Are you alright now?" Sonic nodded, "Yeah I-I think I'll be okay..." he smiled.

"Ma... is it okay if you, sing me a Lullaby?"
Longclaw smiled, "Alright."

When the light is running low and the shadows start to grow
And the places that you know seem like fantasy
There's a light inside your soul
That's still shining in the cold with the truth
The promise in our hearts
Don't forget, I'm with you in the dark

Sonic fell into a peaceful dreamless sleep.

A random WIP I have. Writers block is killing me.
(Lucy and Kayla are one of my many OCs)
Was sneaking out to explore the forest one of Lucy's greatest ideas?
No, it was probably one of the dumbest things she did as a 13 year old.
But did she has any regrets? No. Besides this was better than being cooped up in her house(Maybe she should've left a note so that her older sister, Aubrette knows where she is. Oh well, no going back.)
Lucy tredded carefully through the forest, holding her breath like she didn't want to disturb the critters in the forest.
"Can I help you?"
Lucy jumped at the voice and saw a fox with light brown and light yellow hair, the fox had a small white pin in their hair, and a few blue streaks.
The fox tapped xry foot impatiently, "Well?"
"Oh, I'm so sorry!" Lucy blurted out, "I didn't mean to disturb you! I'm j-just, exploring the forest that's all."
Xe raised an eyebrow, "Why would you want to explore this part of the forest? There's nothing interesting here, trust me. I know the forest like the back of my hand."
"Oh," Lucy tried to hide the disappointment in her voice, "Really?"
The fox nodded, "Yup, but you can't deny that it's quite peaceful here. A good place to go to after a bad day."
