Reg hid, waiting for hours for Sirius to find him, only for him to come out of the cupboard he was hiding in to find only kreacher in the house, who acts surprised when he sees regulus.

"Young master regulus! Aren't you meant to be seeing young master Sirius off at the station?"

And regulus just breaks down and cries because his brother couldn't be bothered to find him.

(In reality Sirius looked for as long as possible, but was told off by his parents bc it wasn't 'befitting of a black' to look around in cupboards and under beds)

As a kid when my older brothers left for uni I would hide their things to make them stay.

Do you think regulus did that at one point when Sirius left for Hogwarts without him?
