For our good friend Rustie Zeplin's 15th Rezday, I generated a lot of boys I thought he'd like... he is a neko femboy in SL but a Burning-Man afficionado and a rock-and-roll Spirit Hood-wearing neko with a fetish for long-haired hippie boys in RL, so I went for the latter aesthetic mostly. When presented with (most of) these choices he went for the first three that I made, which is typical of me :D I wasn't quite satisfied with them, though, so chose one and remixed it a few times to get something appropriately pretty for the poster.
For a Fantasy theme celebrating the advent of Fantasy Faire in Second Life, I generated a fuqtonne of hot boys in fae guise for the poster; lots of different prompts, but dragons and dragonflies were common motifs, with pre-Raphaelite and Victorian influences, and the style of Pierre et Gilles for a lot of them.
A single prompt produced so many beautiful boys in the same style through a variety of zooms, remixes, and creative upscales ("Kaden Carson in the style of Pierre et Gilles"... though they don't look much like Kaden Carson, they definitely look like the work of Pierre et Gilles)
For a Radio Randomonium set, I wanted pretty boys against a background of vintage radios, and Midjourney gave me quite a few of practically the same background but different boys.
For a theme about Luck, I generated some allegorical images about good luck and bad luck, featuring gambling accoutrements, black cats and broken mirrors, and of course hot men.
Just trying out some old favorite painters in the newer version of MidJourney to see what it made of them, and delighted with the results! William Bouguereau, Alexandre Cabanel, and J.C. Leyendecker.
For today's festival of Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan, Coin made a peaceful World Music set with really chill songs from all around the world. I generated some images that just said "Eid Murabak Kareem, queer academia gay interest glamour photography HDR" and got some varied and lovely results. The first one is the one I ended up using for the poster, as it was Coin's favorite.
Whatever that means... for St. Patrick's Day I did a few Irish bands in a set of randomness, and generated a few hotties as queer academia leprechauns. It was a lot of fun, though St. Pat's isn't really my bag. There are so many repulsive shades of green out there.
So for Matt's first night back on Saturdays, he referenced the Christian Resurrection that would be celebrated tomorrow; and I thought that it would be better to refer to a different divine resurrection or resurgence or return and decided to create a poster of Dionysus returning to Thebes on the back of a leopard (or panther, depending on your translation); Matt agreed so long as we dumped the leopard for a cheetah, his preferred big spotted cat, and the avatar he's wearing these days. I referenced Pierre et Gilles in some of these and queer academia in others, with Nicholas Galitzine or Timothee Chalamet in the saddle, and ended up with a lot of pretty cool pictures!
We had a set built off the song "Hair" from the musical of the same name, which was a hit for the family band The Cowsills (the inspiration for the Partridge Family, it is said... imagine a less squeaky version of the Osmonds) so I got a lot of longhaired men and couples to illustrate the poster. I love long hair on men, even if they're imaginary ;)
In my ongoing quest to create posters for neko DJ Dov's Starfall After Dark sets, I experimented with catboys in some varied art styles... midcentury modern providing the oddest results, and more conventionally pretty offerings in the styles of John Singer Sargent, J.C. Leyendecker, and Pierre et Gilles.
I don't know why but I had a craving for gold today, in my outfit and my poster boys, though I didn't think to include Spandau Ballet's "Gold!" in the playlist. These boys are based on very simple prompts, my favorite thing to do these days, seeing how close I can get to what I want with the fewest words (Shirtless Timothee Chalamet [or Nicholas Galitzine] wearing gold lame and body paint).
I had no particular reason to make a bunch of Valentines but I had an idea for Timothee Chalamet dressed as Cupid for Valentine's Day, in the style of Pierre et Gilles, and it yielded such pretty angels that I churned out a dozen or so before switching to Nicholas Galitzine and churning out a dozen more.
Mardi Gras always falls on our Tuesday sets, no idea how that works... but I generated a lot of pictures for the set posters, lots more of the cats but they were much of two types so I picked my favorites.
The daily prompt challenge yesterday on MidJourney was "loong dragon," and I am celebrating the Year of the Dragon at Starfall tonight, so the resulting confluence of dragons and shirtless hotties was pretty tasty!
