If I could ship Eloise with anybody in this show it would be the Footman. Sorry, it's true. I adore him. He gets so much amusement from her and their rapport is so funny and he cares. I love it. Theo is great. And I'm sure Phillip's cool but I think the Footman wins for me.

soooo important to me that "the next time one of them says you're soulless i might have to fight them" is not only right after andrew kisses neil for the first time but it's literally neil's response to "i won't be like them. i won't let you let me be." Like. andrew calls neil's 'yes' a nervous breakdown, lights two cigarettes he doesn't even smoke (neil steals one of them) and is speedrunning possibly his seventh gay crisis of the year, and when he says, out loud, that he will not inflict what was inflicted on him, he will not be like drake or any of the others, and how dare this fucking pipe dream make him falter like this, and neil essentially says they're wrong about you. andrew is not a monster and he never has been, but the way he's talked about implies he has no level of empathy for the wellbeing of others to any extent– but neil witnesses andrew say tell me no and pull away and stop and says the next time one of them says you're soulless i might have to fight them. Can anybody fucking hear me

Imagining in the future when Kevin is on a pro team (with a bunch of players who obviously aren’t up to his standards, because who is) and he is absolutely laying into them all the time and is always bringing up

“Neil Josten once fired shots with Andrew Minyard in goal for a whole night and blew out his arms just because he was stubborn and you can’t even handle shooting on (insert goalie’s name)?”

“Neil Josten played better than you while he was actively running from the Mafia. You think you have other things on your mind?”

Bonus if after a year or two of dealing with this Kevin’s team finally meets Neil at an exy banquet and tattle on him. And Neil is just “??? You literally texted me two weeks ago just to tell me my passes are dogshit? My team hadn’t even played a game or anything, you had just remembered and felt like bringing it up?”
