In the past three years, so many bad things happened, and the world went into chaos. At least one thing that can make me happy is flying. From Jan. 1, 2019, I started learning officially, passed 7 practical tests, and finally got my 1500 hours in Nov 2022 and ready for being an Airline Transportation Pilot. Been to almost all states, except those northwestern ones, which will be covered in Dec, including Alaska. Made 3 private pilots, 3 instrument ratings, and 3 commercial pilots (very soon). Been super busy, cuz all these were done on the side of being an architect. And in extreme delightfulness and pain, cuz of 4-year homesickness. I really hope my country can get better 💔, and I can go home sooner. Congrats to my brother Hardy (Haoyi) Wang on getting his Private Pilot Certificate! I’ve provided the most comprehensive training I can ever imagine. He’s been flown to Catalina, Big Bear and San Francisco when he was a student. I even signed him solo to San Diego International and Ontario International, partially night, for x-country requirement, really pushing to the edge of the law, because he is simply smart and hardworking! Originally 3-month intensive training was elongated to be 5-month because of 2 unfortunate cancellations by examiners. But, the insanity is paid off! 19 years old with a major of aerospace engineer, u r going all the way up!
