The corporate aristocracy.

So much money can flood our government that the politics, who are basically bought by all this money, do what they were bought for!

What has happened is we have subconsciously once again recreated the condition of aristocracy. You can call it a corporatocracy, you can call it a plutocracy, you can call it an oligarchy, I don't care what you call it. We have once again manifested a social system, in which, for all intents and purposes, apparently just a few people are deemed entitled somehow!

Because what has happened, especially since Citizens United, is that our government has been turned into a system of legalized bribery.

We need to override this.

We need to stage an intervention here. Because the traditional political establishment is not doing [that].

This will not change unless we change it. And if we revisit the Declaration of Independence, it says that it is the right of the people to do that.

If I'm President of the United States, I will immediately submit to Congress legislation to establish public funding for federal campaigns so that we return the power to the people.

We're not the first generation to have to deal with this stuff, but let us not be the first generation to wimp out on doing the job it takes to get this country back on track.

Oh, let me tell you something about the people who call me "unserious" - they don't say it because they really think I'm unserious - they say it because they KNOW how serious I am.

Right now we have a civilization where economics is the ordering principle of human civilization. I believe that humanitarian values should be the ordering principle of human civilization. Economics should not be our bottom line, LOVE should be our bottom line.

Everytime some DNC official, or some politican looks at me as though to say, "Who let you in here?", You know what my answer is? James Madison let me in here. With a little help from Susan B. Anthony.
