~Character regressing into a mythical creature

Caregiver angst prompts

tw: anxiety, injury, sh, toxic relationships, etc.

~Caregiver with separation anxiety.

~Caregiver with burnout

~Caregiver with chronic fatigue doing their best to look after a little

~Caregiver with an injury that they hide from their little one so as not to scare them

~Regressor who ignores a caregiver’s boundaries (could be a specific name they don’t want to be called, touch, noise, ect.) Whether on accident or on purpose is up to you

Start to feel ignored because cg can’t bring themselves to say they are uncomfortable and start ignoring them instead?

~Caregiver with dyslexia + regressor who (un)intentionally makes fun of their reading skills when asked to read them a story out loud

~Caregiver who suffers from self destructive tendencies and finds it hard to help their little one when they feel they can barely take care of themselves

~Caregiver comforting a little one about sh scars after they’ve just relapsed themselves

~Regressor having a different caregiver before them. Their caregiver now knowing they will never be able to truly fill that place in their little one’s life no matter how hard they try

~Caregiver who’s little one no longer regresses/ no longer wants them to take care of them, having to go through memories of their little one, get rid of little gear, find some other way to cope themselves

Regressor in Denial Agere Prompts

~A caregiver or babysitter who swears they can’t regress. They have a little one to watch over after all. (Bonus if they take on the role of parent when caregiving normally and/or are physically older)

~Character A who likes to be around when character B is looking after other regressors. Character B thinks that maybe Character A is a potential caregiver. Character A meanwhile is deeply curious about regression and is drawn to a lot of the colorful toys, fun cartoons, and soft demeanor that Character B takes on when caretaking

~Character A who sneaks a pacifier/blanket/toy/bottle from a bin of extras that caregiver keeps around in case of emergency, assuming that caregiver won’t notice. They have like 25 pacifiers, who’s going to miss one simple black one going missing? Or an unlabeled, undecorated bottle? Or a basic green blankie? And that stuffed bear was looking so sad all on its own, clearly it wasn't loved by anyone, so now they are going to love it

~Caregiver who ever so slightly pushes agere gear towards character in denial. If only someone would hug this poor teddy bear. Hey I bought this wrong-colored blanket for my kiddo; do you want it instead? Oh my gosh I haven’t seen this cartoon in forever! Wait you never watched it before? Dude you’ve missed out! Well now we need to have a movie night and binge cartoons- I’ll brings snacks!

~Caregiver who doesn’t realize they have started treating Character A like they would a little. Cutting their sandwich in half and removing the crusts. Lots of positive praise over very simply tasks. Reminding them to drink water, brush their teeth. Fussing over their clothes and hair. Picking them up and dragging them to bed at a reasonable time.

~Character A being really jealous for seemingly no reason whenever one of their friends are regressed. They’re more than supportive, so why is it that they feel so bad whenever their friend is regressed around them (bonus for Character being called out by their peers for unconsciously treating the regressor poorly, or ignoring them.)

~ <- additionally: to everyone else it seems like Character A is uncomfortable being around someone regressed and it leads to miscommunication. Do they confess that they end up feeling funny? That they wish they had that attention? Do they get angry? Or just keep avoiding now everyone because they feel guilty/stress is piling up

~Caregiver who’s been stressed and for one reason or another can’t be with their regular little, gets offered from Character A to treat them as if they were regressed. Character A expects this to be a comfortable soft evening, if not a little awkward. Turns out Character A is closer to slipping than they ever thought was possible.

~Middle regressor who really, really, really wants to be treated as if they were younger, but are too shy to ask to be babied. Instead they set up an elaborate scheme to get babied.

12 days of Agere prompts challenge

This small challenge is designed to give you prompts for your moodboard’s, drawings, fanfics etc.!

Add your own personality to it, under each prompt I have a small explanation of it! But feel free to interpret how you like it!

I used “you” a lot but it doesn’t need to be you! Could be about a character you like or oc! Feel free to bend the rules :3

-> Whats your favorite food? I bet it’s yummy! This prompt is all about the comfort and happiness that food brings!

2. Favorite place

-> Could be a room in the house, a specific special place, the park, waterpark’s etc etc. Anywhere you enjoy!

3. Favorite/Dream outfit

-> What is or would be your favorite outfit to wear? Does it has pockets? Trinkets? Is it colorful? Or just a black and white theme? Let your fashion sense shine!

4. Dream bag

-> What is or would be your ideal bag? What’s inside? Toys? Candy? Maybe care items? Let your imagination run wild!

5. Summer inspired

-> Firstly, get inspired by the things to do in summer! The beach, the road-trips, playing outside, playing with water and getting messy eating ice cream! Enjoy the sun and adventure!

6. Fall inspired

-> Now, get inspired by the things you do in fall! The leafs, the trees, nuts, animals, the weather, jumping on a pile of leaf’s! Lots of fun to be can had!

7. Winter inspired

-> This time get inspired by the things you do in winter! Building snowman’s, having snowball fights, being cozy, enjoying the warmth of the fireplace! If we’re you live it doesn’t snow, you can get inspiration by the cozy foods, clothes and cold breeze!

8. Spring inspired

-> Lastly, time to get inspired by the spring! It’s time for colors, flowers, enjoying the nice warmth of the sun and still seeing the rain! Spring is great to jump on puddles and find insects!

9. Favorite outside activity

-> No matter the season, what’s one thing you love doing outside? It could be shopping, playing, visiting new places, what would that activity be? Where would the adventure take you?

10. Favorite inside activity

-> Now, let’s get back home! What would you like to do? Maybe snuggle a bit? Have more playtime? Maybe even take a bath? So many options!

11. Make a “perfect” cg/little

-> Who would be your ideal caregiver or little? Could be a character, the ideal traits you desire, or simply your own caregiver/little one!

(Remember, no one is perfect and not being able to always meet those expectations doesn’t make you a bad person! Is just for fun :3)

12. Favorite Plushy appreciation post

-> What is your favorite plushie? Make a post about it! Show off how cute and cuddly that little buddy is!

~Caregiver who had to try and slowly coax their little one back into regressing x regressor who keeps pulling themselves out of headspace despite needing to be small in order to heal

~Rewriting childhood with someone who actually listens to them, even if it's only over something deemed 'ridiculously small' like not like a certain food, or a clothing texture, or a tv show that is being played.

~Little one who doesn't like sleeping alone in a big scary bed. Their caregiver suggests co-sleeping next to them. If that doesn't work then a hot water bottle or a warmy of a cute animal that can be heated up and snuggled with. Or maybe it's as simple as a huge wall of pillows

~Making cozy pillow forts/nests to hide away in at bed time. The baby logic of 'If I can't see you, you can't see me'

~Caregiver who helps wash their little one's hair when taking a full shower is too overwhelming

~Caregiver who wears gloves all the time, practically 24/7 to help their kiddo get used to non threatening touch again

~Caregiver who has to deal with slamming of doors, and tantrums. Sitting behind locked doors and telling their little one over and over again that they're here, they aren't going to leave them alone to deal with these big emotions. They aren't going to look at them any differently when everything is over and the guilt and shame hits. It’s alright.
