Conqueror's haki is getting most of the focus for Imu and the God's Knights weaknesses right now, but I think what they're really vulnerable to is sea kings.

If Shanks really wanted to remove his Mark of the Abyss or get it covered up, he could have easily done so himself or through combat with another strong Conqueror's haki user. Except he couldn't because we see from Sommers that the regeneration isn't canceled out from conqueror's haki, only delayed.

But when the Lord of the Coast bit off Shank's arm, it never grew back. Maybe it wasn't just hunger that drove the Lord of the Coast to attack Shanks that day. What if it attacked because it instinctually knew there was something unnatural about him. Something that was antithetical to the ocean and needed to be gotten rid of immediately.

Imu has been theorized to be the Sea Devil, but what if they're not the devil of the sea? What if they're the Devil to the sea. And the kings of that sea are naturally immune to that devil's black magic.

That's why they dwell on the Red Line far above ocean level. That's why Poseidon is the only ancient weapon that Imu wants destroyed by way of killing Shirahoshi instead of being put under World Government control like the other two. Because they know sea kings are their mortal enemy and could never be made to serve Imu's whims either by proxy or with Domi Reversi.

We know from Fishman Island. that sea kings are just as if not more intelligent than humans. The ones we see in the series have probably been around since the Void Century and even long before that. They've been waiting all that time for their prophecy to come to pass.

And their wait is almost over.
