Akrav is NOT abandoned

We’re making new plans how to progress. There will be changes necessary as well as some more wait, but it will happen. If I want to finish anything in my life it’s Akrav. 

Also if you want to see future updates about the situation as well as new concepts for Akrav, it’s best to follow @n4tiart on twitter since their account here on tumblr will be deactivated soon. This tumblr here will remain active until further notice, but this might change once the reboot of Akrav starts.  Thx to everyone who’s still caring about it and waiting <3

Hey! Glad to see you're doing ok. I was wondering, would you be answering asks if they were sent to you? If your schedules allow it, of course. I absolutely love your work, and please stay safe

Lately my schedule’s been kinda whack so no promises! But you can definitely send in asks and we’ll answer them as good as we can! Maybe drawn out, maybe in text, it will depend on the question and time available, but it would be a nice way to bridge over that time of waiting while I can’t work on the comic.

With each new month, I lost hope of continuing AKRAV, because there was no news. But I'm still waiting! Please do not lose such a terrific webcomic, many of my friends are also waiting. We love AKRAV!💕

Don’t worry, AKRAV will return one day! I’m sorry it’s suffering due to lack of time, but sometimes real life just comes first. But we definitely want to continue AKRAV, so thank you all for being patient!

Hello there and thank you so much for checking in with us! We’re doing good, but Akrav is currently on hiatus due to me (Nati) working on my degree as a concept artist. We also will give Akrav some rewriting and a redesign, but we plan to come back eventually when it’s the right time for it!

Do you mean @akrav-comic? If yes, thank you SO MUCH, Akrav is my baby which I currently just don’t have time for anymore. I recently started a new sidejob and I’m studying to become a concept artist so I’m flooded with assignments additionally to work. As soon as my schedule loosens up a little I’ll go back to AKRAV immediately.

I can’t wait to get back to AKRAV to be honest, I’ve been meaning to redesign the boys.Thanks so much for your kind words, I appreciate it so so much ;w; <3

Hey i noticed you haven't uploaded in a long time, it's this still a thing? Did something happened?

Hello there! First of all: AKRAV is NOT dead! There’s just been a few rough things that happened in my (Nati’s) life that prevented me from focusing on art 100% like I used to do it.I had an arm injury, I had severe art burnout and some other mental heatlh issues, so I’m taking a break of a couple of projects.

Also I’m starting to study to become a concept artist, and I want to give the AKRAV characters a slightly more appealing character redesign soon. So what Em and I considered doing is finishing chapters before we upload them. This way we might update “only” once or twice a year, but you’ll have full chapter updates! 

So don’t worry, AKRAV will continue, I just can’t tell yet when that will be!

A lot of the pages on your AkravComic. com page aren't working for some reason, like the World of Akrav pages about Ahrazoh and Lizardfolk! Thought you should know

Thanks for the heads up! I noticed the issue yesterday, seems like one of the plugins is having troubles. I already contacted support because I can’t get into the page content at ALL. I hope to get this fixed next week at the latest!

Yes!! Don't worry, we have to apologize for not announcing that we changed the uploading schedule again!At least until the first chapter is done we will upload both pages on Sundays. This way we have enough time for Akrav and other projects and the action is not dragged out as much. I mean, we all know you guys know what's happening/going on, but we figured that this would be a good way to handle updates~Thanks for your ask and we apologize for the wait!~Nati

HI! Lohan’s species is called Ahrazoh, it’s an original species that we made for the world of Akrav. You can read all the details on them, and see concept art on our comic’s website!

Hello! I would like to ask a rather exciting question. How much do you expect from the entire comic? I understand that the work is very hard and takes a lot of time and energy from the authors, but I would like to know the limit of all your wonderful work. I love your comics and art's, and I would like it to remain as much as possible.

Akrav is a big project. We have so much planned, it’s probably going to take years to get through it! so Akrav is for sure a long term project! I hope that you guys are ready for a long and crazy ride! We’ve got some super cool exciting stuff planned! We’re pumped to see how you like it!

I'm curious why you guys decided to redo chapter 1. The new pages have better art and writing, but the old ones weren't bad or even mediocre by any stretch, and usually when webcomics redo early chapters, it's because they started out pretty rough. This isn't a criticism, I'm just curious.

Thank you so much for your ask! We’re super happy you like the early version of chapter 1, and we like it too, We aren’t redoing it because we don’t think it’s good enough or anything, it’s just in the wrong aspect ratio! The pages are too short!We changed the size and height-width ratio from chapter 2 onwards, and we just really want it all to be in the same porportion, so we can print it some day!

Chapter 2 is the correct size so once we finish chapter 1 we’re not going to redo any more of the old pages.

chapter 1 pages would just look bad stretched out or they would have awkward gaps at the top and bottom, so to make sure it looks good in printing, we decided to add a couple of panels to fill the empty space.
