i still need to do a lot of research and work on my part to understand butchfemme history as well as butch identities better, so that i can know MYSELF better. i want to make sure i get rid of any potential internalised lesbiphobia, butchphobia, anything of that sort. i want to stop feeling so inadequate compared to other butches, it keeps me from reaching out to yall and making real connections, finding ppl who know what im going thru! why would i deprive myself of being so deeply and utterly understood? i want a community but it wont appear out of thin air! i have to put in the work, open myself up.
