I think this is the final artwork for my 2023 year-end music compilation. Every year I make a time capsule "album" for myself that is ~90 minutes in length and holds all my favorite music from the year. This year, I made the cover art myself.

The photos showcased here are all ones that either myself or my wife, GremlinBon, took throughout the year. Edited together using Affinity Photo. The main photo is from the April 27 Radwimps concert at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Toronto, Ontario. Below is the final track list - thank you so much to all the artists showcased here who made all of this work. Not just the musicians but the cover artists, producers, writers, and anyone else involved. Songs are not limited to 2023 releases, just music that I enjoyed in 2023.

Breadmaker's Tale - An SAO Story [Announcement]

Hello, everyone. I know that this sort of content is not why my followers are following me, so this is the only time that I will be posting about it on this blog. I've started writing a fan story for Sword Art Online - called "Breadmaker's Tale". It's meant as a soft alt-history version of the classic SAO story meant to explore the trauma, and beauty of the world through fresh character experiences. The story takes place mainly through the experiences of a character who enjoys crafting and gathering - Rin.

A reimagining of the coverart for an old, niche vocaloid record called "So What" by AdyS. I think they're long since retired but I loved this record growing up and wanted to re-design a coverart for it. The lineart is from the original cover. AdyS is also the original cover artist. The text in the cover is the tracklist.

EMPRESS | re:connection.sequence.03 Similar to my last piece, this is a custom cover art for the Beatmania IIDX 16 Empress Original Soundtrack - based on the splash screen & mode select UI elements. Painstakingly hand-crafted in vector art; I remade everything here from references of actual assets.
