Some of my harry potter next gen headcanons

1. When it comes to being known as Harry potter's child, James, Albus and Lily have different attitudes towards it, James thinks that because he is Harry's son he deserves special treatment (i also headcanon him as smart, popular great with magic, so his ego is like very high) Albus hates being known as Harry's son, not because he hates Harry but because he wants to be his own person, Lilly doesn't really care

2. Dominque is a painter

3. Albus sucks at 99% of magic, but the one area he exceeds is duelling. He is insanely talented at duelling, especially when defending himself

4. Hugo never knew what he wanted to do career wise, posthogwarts, but one day, he gets tricked into going into the forbidden forest alone and has a near death experience and is saved by a magical creature so he decides to dedicate his life to the care of magical creatures

I agree so much with the "doesn't like being called potter" part

It was either on Ao3 or Fanfic.net

So in the fic, Albus and Scorpius had bloody hands (don't remeber why) and touched an egg and so the DNA of Albus and Scorpius made the Egg hatch and so the story is about them raising the hatchling as they are the biological parents

I also remember there was a part about Albus and Scorpius being happy, made the hatchling grow, and be strong

But when they were angry with each other it Started to get sick

While i personally dislike snape, i never got the hate for Harry giving Albus the middle name Severus. People act like he decided to name a future child after Snape during his time at hogwarts when he thought snape was evil

I remember watching. i think it was the order of the Phoenix, and in the scene where Severus was training Harry on occulmenacy

Harry's like "My father was a great man"

And i was like "??? How the fuck do you know?" Harry was really young when his parents died he never even had a conversation with him

He might as well of named a son after his Great great great great grandfather's favorite writer.

People get mad that Harry named his son after Severus. However I’m leaning more towards the fact that Snape did the most thankless job even after being mistreated all of his life by the people he was saving and working with and the only thanks he gets- the only time anyone has decided to remember a single thing he did- it’s when Harry is naming his spawn.

Severus is not even the spawn’s first name, it’s his second name. Oh yeah and he threw in some half-baked dialogue about how Severus was brave. Wow truly what a fucking treat, what an homage.

And people are complaining that he didn’t name his kid after Hargid (or Lupin I don’t think which is pretty sad and also thankless). And I agree, but instead of switching out Severus’s name, take out James’s.

He named one of his kids James Sirius Potter (which is just so cringe) and like my question is why? Sirius is perfectly understandable but why James? James has done absolutely nothing-and I mean-NOTHING for Harry apart from get compared to him and has basically acted as a sperm donor to Harry. No- not a father, because being a father actually requires raising ur kid- no James’s only merit is that he had a wizard messiah in his ballsack. Brilliant.
