Also him suffering the third wheel presence among Yoriichi and Uta, the lovely couple.

I'd like to think that Mitchikatsu's marriage is an arranged and loveless one. Not sure if it's canon, but I'd like to think it that way.

Shinjuro held you in the air and examined you. Kyojuro left you with his father while he and senjuro went to the market.

He lowered you to where you were nestled on his chest and he laid back.

Shinjiro and kyojuro came back to see you and their father asleep on the floor in your room.

Giggles could be heard in the Tengen ousehold as it was dinner time.

Tengen was rolling on the floor with you as the girls made dinner.

"What am I supposed to do with you." Sanemi muttered as you crawled all over your temporary bedroom (a small room he didn't know what to do with).

"what do you eat?" He kneeled down to your height. You crawled up to him, using his knees to try and stand.

He poked your stomach causing you to lose balance and fall. You stared up at him, He stared down at you.

you started to huff.

'oh no' the thought 'they're gonna cry'

and cry you did. You screamed your lungs out as he tried everything to calm you down. He even tried to feed you his blood, which only made you scream louder.

He got you to calm down by giving you Ohagi. Turns out you love it almost as much as he does.

"Time to go to bed Y/n." Giyuu said as he watched you play with your toys for like two hours.

You turned to him before giggling. Unfortunately for Giyuu, you knew how to run. You stood up and got ready for an unwanted game of tag and hide n seek.

"Don't even try, It's time for bed." Giyuu also got ready as this isn't the first time this happened.

In fact, this happens most nights and Giyuu is always the winner.

You ran out of the room with Giyuu close behind you. You rounded the corner at full speed. Too much speed. You hit the wall. Giyuu was quick to pick you up.

"This is why we don't run in the house." He comforted you by rubbing your head and bringing you to your room. You were asleep in his arms as he laid you down.

All Muichirou wanted to do was train but since you were assigned to him his attention was all on you.

Currently, the 2 of you were having a staring contest as you both ate. You copied his movements, and he would just watch.

You never cried, screamed, or made much noise. You and Muichirou got along great.

He brought you to every Hashira meeting and he let you do your own thing.

"Bu" you called to Shinobu from the pin she put you in. It was the only word you could say.

She looked up from her work over to you. You were standing holding on to the bar of the pin.

"Ah someone finally awake." She set her work aside and went to check on you.

"Bu Bu" You squealed as she picked you up.

"I'm here. I'm here."

You were the only reason she never worked herself to death.

At first, you were a simple maid for the Ubuyashiki family. That is, you were not specially hired to take care of Muzan.

But you couldn't help but feel sorry for him and his illness.

Sure, it was common in every member of the Ubuyashiki family but somehow, Muzan was the one you empathized with the most.

He was quick to notice that you were giving him special treatment.

Being the only maid to bring her medicine when the doctor was away, appearing suddenly with soup or tea and asking steadily about her condition.

He didn't accept it at first but you had touched his heart in a certain way.

Of course, in the beginning, he was very curt and dry with you, feeling offended that he was hurting someone else.

But seeing your look of genuine concern when he was writhing in pain and how you stayed by his side every moment you could, made him kinder and more considerate, grateful that someone cared so much about him.

The conversations, quality time with each other and displays of affection were what ignited feelings for each other.

You did not formally confess. It was a more indirect confession on your part.

"If you ever recover and get out of this hell, I will continue to take care of you so that your health doesn't get worse again. Your life comes before mine." was what you said.

Yes, one would interpret it as a friendly token that you cared very much. But Muzan saw the love in your eyes and heard the sincerity with which you spoke. And that's what made him understand what you were trying to say to him, he understood that you cared about him and his sake.

Of course, their relationship was complicated. For although, many times they tried to have a 'romantic dinner' or something like that, Muzan would always start having seizures because of his illness.

If he could, he would be constantly taking you places for dinner, buying you whatever you wanted and fulfilling your every whim. But because of his health, you were the one fulfilling his needs.

And it was that same uneasiness you felt for him that forced himself to go on living. For God's sake, he begged the doctor to help him find a cure.

When he finally convinced the doctor, he did not hesitate to take the medicine he offered.

Oh, the anger he felt at believing that the medicine had had no effect. He not only felt cheated, but also devastated that he could no longer live by your side, loving you.

But when he had already stained his hands with the doctor's blood, he realized that the medicine had worked.

He never felt so happy in his life. Finally, free of that horrible disease that tormented him since birth and able to live a normal life with you.

But what a surprise he got when you pulled him into the yard and as soon as his arm was exposed to the sunlight, he felt incredible pain.

It didn't take him long to realize that he couldn't be in the sun now.

And also that he had to eat human flesh to survive and increase his strength.

That kept him a secret from you. What would you think of him watching him devour other people for his survival?

Relax, he didn't put a claw or fang on you. He wouldn't dare hurt you.

All he wanted was to become the strongest man (or well, demon) in the world and rule by your side.

No matter how well he hid it, always cleaning every bloodstain in the room and making sure there was no bad smell, eventually you found out.

Since he could not be exposed to the sun, you went to visit him every night and always knocked on the door before entering, waiting for an answer.

But apparently, that time you forgot and suddenly opened the door. And you saw him eating the body of another new maid who had come to work a few days ago.

"Y/N... let me turn you into a demon. We will be immortal, powerful...we will rule together...we will be invincible once we can dominate the sun.... live with me for all eternity."

You loved him too much to let him go. I mean, he was finally able to recover from his terrible illness and now you had a chance to live with him. How could you refuse?
