managed to get my graphics tablet to work for over an hour and made this. mostly simple stuff and one is not even finished because that's when it started malfunctioning again

i don't usually post any oc related stuff but decided that i maybe should this time. all of these were drawn at least few months ago, maybe even a year or 2 ago idk can't remember.

first one is named Romana, she's a student at some magic uni. the guy next to her has no name cuz i promised my sibling that they can name him.

the guy with long hair is named Nathaniel and she has a metal bird (not really visible on the drawing) called Metallica. i will probably have to change that name at some point

there's also a random rabbit girl that i might do something with at some point.

Hi there! I saw the poll you just posted, and I just wanted to say that I started following you because I think your art is great, and I'd miss it if you stopped drawing

I totally understand feeling like your art isn't good enough, or that you could do better, or that you're not improving as fast as you'd like. But I think the fact that you can see things in your art that you'd like to improve is already a sign that your art is improving!

If you really feel that your art isn't doing you any good, maybe you should try not to hold yourself to such high standards, and maybe take a little break, because it sounds like you're burning yourself out. Remember that art needs to be fun above being good! Try to be a little less demanding of yourself and draw things that make you happy :)

(I hope this doesn't sound rude or anything, English isn't my first language and I sometimes struggle a bit with tones)

i'm not feeling my best lately so this really helps <3

and second: i'm honestly just scared that i will achieve nothing in the future and should look for something else to do with my time while i still can. but knowing that there are people that care enough about my drawings and how i feel about my art to send me a message like this really makes it worth the effort and makes me feel better about being on tumblr as well

i honestly forgot that burnout is something that can apply to me. i've had art-blocks before but this is so much worse

and there's an issue with the progress being especially slow lately. unfortunately i can't draw most days and without practice there's no improvement

but i will take a break and later try something simple :>
