"I'm willing to start any rumor to make sure you get as good a Valentines gift as I did, man." He shakes his head and lets go of his shirt. "I got ya," he leans over and grabs a pizza box with a bow on it from under the bench. "This. Shaped like a heart. Nothing compared to what ya got me."

"It's Valentine's day."

As Alex held onto his shirt, Harrison leaned on the back of the bench, head on his hand. “Depends on what kind of rumors you’re aiming to start, Queen.” He joked with a wink.

Alex was sitting; almost nodding off; on a bench on the school grounds when Harrison came up to him. When he leaned in, he grabbed a part of his friend's shirt to keep him there. "Do you want that kiss now?"

"It's Valentine's day."

"And I am all out of roses, so here you go." He offered with a grin before he leaned down to press a kiss to their cheek. "May you find someone to cuddle with or do… Other things with."

You find a small red envelope in your locker with a conversation heart stuck to the front. The note inside reads "Roses are red, violets are blue. Candy is sweet, and I LOVE YOU! Happy Valentine's Day!"

Alexander couldn’t help but at least let out a chuckle at the cute little poem. He stuck it into the side of his locker which was cleared for these sort of things.

I see so many hearts everywhere, I’m guessing it’s Valentine’s day.

An envelope is taped to Alexander’s locker, a sun and a heart drawn on it. A dead giveaway as to who this could be from. My bestest musical wonder, Ah but what to get you on Valentine’s day? A book of songwriting techniques, a new microphone? Well I’ll let you decide. Spend wisely, it’s got 100$ on it and I expect a kiss later.                               -H <3

Holy shit. Holy shit. Was all Alexander could think when he opened the envelope. He shook his head, covering his mouth, and went to go find his friend.

Eden rushed up to Alex’s desk, dropping a box of cupcakes onto it. She cheerfully said, “Happy Valentine’s Day, Alex!” and kissed him on the cheek before running off. 

He grinned looking down at the cupcakes. “Th-” he grinned wider when she kissed his cheek, “-anks!” He called after her, laughing a bit as he watched her leave.

He couldn't help but laugh, running a hand through his hair. "That just kinda happens, now you're makin' me blush. You're the one with the actual talent for soccer, I'm just good at flirting. And please, Nikki may be the only one who you think you've swooned, but I know for a fact that if you asked pretty much any girl- or guy- out, they'd be beside themselves. I think we're both gonna get places, some way or another. And if not, Adelaide will still hound me, and I will still hound you."

"I'm so serious..."

"Come on.” He groaned, falling back. “Alex… Girls literally swoon when you start playing. Even boys ogle you. I juggle a soccer ball on my knees and they cheer, but then they move on to their cheerleading. The only person I seem to swoon is Nikki. Fortunately, I don’t really mind that.” He added with a bright grin. “But really man, you’re gonna go places with that talent. Adelaide hounding you the whole way.”

"That depends. Do we get our own theme song?"

Huh...

"Ah… Now we’re getting to the real questions…"

"Wanna be my detective partner?"

"Oh damn, yeah. I can be all Toph without the blind thing."

That sounds like a blast. Perhaps with enough practice you could do some earth bending.

He rolled his eyes. "She's just gonna freak out over a little sprain. I guess that's a genetic trait." He slanted his eyes at her.

Oh. My. Fucking. Gods.

"You’ll lose your tongue faster than you could say ‘gyro’," Tara said before harshly letting go of Alex’s arm. "Alex, you know that you’re going to need to tell her soon!"

"Or else what?" He flicked his eyebrows up in a bit of a challenge and then frowned a bit. "Not really."

"Alex, shut up or else." She took his arm into her hands, looking over the bandage. She looked up at him before saying, "Does mom know about this?"
