My yearly Halloween pumpkin! 🎃 This one commemorates one of my favourite video games, Night in the Woods. My husband introduced me to this game when we started dating and I was so obsessed with it and would read out all the text in voices to him as he did things around his apartment.

My latest embroidery animation. I added a digital background using Photoshop, this is probably the most detailed I would want to go with a background. Any more than this detracts from the embroidered aspect. I also added in some camera close ups, which I really like. It gives you a chance to see the stitching better :D

I loved Spiderverse and I loved they way they animated Hobie. He was so textural, I knew he’d work well as an embroidery.

Do you have any tips for doing the like looped border on the edges of patches? I have such a hard time doing it on anything that isn't a circle

Oh man, I'm not really sure. Hmmm, the pointy parts get difficult for sure, sometimes I do a stitch and then have to kind of push it back to where I want, or add another little stitch to hold it in place better. Just doing heaps and heaps of stitches so close together means that eventually all areas will be covered. It's really all just trail and error for me.

I just got here and oh my god holy s h i t oh my god you are so cool your work is BLOWING ME AWAY I’m screaming I’m sobbing I do a little embroidery and sewing for patches on clothing for fun and I’ve always found that to be a whole experience but this is insane you’re incredible 👏👏👏

Thank you so much! Haha I'm an animator already so once I started embroidery I knew I had to try animating this way. Now I've started other kinds of embroideries too, it's so satisfying.
