I've gotten to meet some amazing people, see the entire US and get to watch these guys grow every night. Stoked for their future and to finally sleep in my own bed. Hello fellow readers! I apologize for the lateness in reading material as its it’s been a little difficult trying to get motivation when you haven’t seen the sun in a few days. Nonetheless, this tour has already been a blast seeing tons of friends,and we are only on day 4…although my body feels like it’s day 20. Currently we are in route to Lakewood, OH after making the long trek to an INCREDIBLE sold out show in Boston on the first day with such an amazing crowd. Second day we headed to Poughkeepsie, NY where the highlight was a great food spot called “All Shook Up” which had the best avocado-ranch dip and turkey burger I’ve had in awhile. Day 3 we began our commute to Buffalo after a warm and well rested nights sleep in the van (kidding of course). That night I got to see some familiar faces and one of my favorite people I’ve met on the road (love ya Crysta), and finally got to shower (I’m clean mom & dad). Due to the heavy driving and dreary weather there hasn’t been too much time for checking out local attractions, but there are plenty days of tour to come. You would think watching the same 4 bands play the same set over and over would get boring, but the energy each band gives off is incredible bringing a refreshing new aspect each night. I’ll say it over and over again, but I truly am lucky and grateful to be out with the guys in Broadside. If you come out to a date this tour, you will not be disappointed. As I end each time, I’m gonna do my best to give a tip or something I’ve learned from the past few days. Today’s tip comes to you from having to change my own habits of always having a routine. Being on tour, every day is completely different in regards to where you’re going, the weather, or if you’ll have time to change your clothes . Don’t focus too much on what you can’t change, but rather what you can control in that moment. Thanks for enduring this long post and keep your eye out for more! P. S. After countless hours of procrastination, multiple glasses of wine, and many unnecessary trips to Target.... Im officially PACKED!!! This afternoon we begin our journey to Boston for the first show tomorrow at The Middle East!! Let the fun begin!

Baltimore or Philly is closest. I just got a new job so I'll keep you updated for sure on if I can have you all crash the night of Baltimore (I start this new job Monday) because otherwise Friday I would have to be up and ready to go very early haha.

Our last date on that tour is actually the Richmond show because we are hopping on tour with State Champs

How does one manage to get asked by a band to tour with them?? That's so amazing that you get do to that!

I got the opportunity after years of knowing the band as well as working within the local music scene. In a way I kind of proved to the band that I was something they needed and would help them while we were on the road. I got an opportunity to book a weekend run for them a few years back and since then just worked hard to know being able to go out on the road.
