Presenting the 10th issue of the Algorithms of Late-Capitalism zine: “Data Gardens” 🤖 Digital Edition 🤖 Self-printing Edition ——————————————
Immerse yourself in a garden of data. A place where data is not immaterial bits aggregated and analyzed by automated systems, but rather nurtured and cared for as material and relational.
—————————————— This edition of Algorithms of Late-Capitalism was created by internet teapot (Karla Zavala and Adriaan Odendaal) with special contribution from the participants of the NoBIAS – Artificial Intelligence without BiasAI Festival Marie Skłodowska-Curie initiative during a workshop on 30 June 2023 during their Doctoral School.

Presenting the 9th issue of the Algorithms of Late-Capitalism zine: “Kaleidoscopic Futures” 🤖 Digital Edition 🤖 Self-printing Edition ——————————————
Looking through a kaleidoscope reframes reality in unexpected and spectacular ways. Its refracting lens allows us to see our world as an array of multiplicities, reconfigured into a captivating vision of something new and different.
In this edition of Algorithms of Late-Capitalism we ask: what happens if we view our technological reality through a kaleidoscopic lens comprised of radically different values, perspectives, experiences, and knowledges?
To create such spectacular speculative visions, we invited our zine workshop participants to consult with the Oracle of Transfeminist Technologies and use its prismatic perspective to create new and inspiring kaleidoscopic visions of the future.
—————————————— This edition of Algorithms of Late-Capitalism was created by internet teapot (Karla Zavala and Adriaan Odendaal) and the students of the Erasmus Mundus Media Arts Cultures MA programme during a zine-making workshop that took place at Danube University Krems in November 2022.

Presentamos Algorithms of Late-Capitalism número 8: Glitches, ¡nuestro primer número en español!

Presenting the seventh issue of the Algorithms of Late-Capitalism zine: “Bots, Ghosts and Other Workers” 🤖 Digital Edition 🤖 Self-printing Edition ——————————————
AI systems are made of human labour and have an impact on human labour conditions. This feedback cycle is present in almost all sectors to some degree. Yet, these systems are often designed and deployed in ways that keep this reality strategically concealed. For this issue, we invited workshop participants to unpack some of the social and technological dimensions of AI and highlight the hidden human costs of automation. Who pays the price for increased automation? What changes are taking place in power relations at work? Can we imagine ways to make labour more fair in the age of AI?
—————————————— This edition of Algorithms of Late-Capitalism was created by internet teapot (Karla Zavala and Adriaan Odendaal) and the participants of the workshop: Algorithms of Late-Capitalism Zine Co-creation Workshop that took place during the Mozilla Festival in March 2022.
