they have a study hub and they also have a wifi that you can use while studying or working FOR AN HOUR. but if you need to extend, you can join have a membership with them so you can also be their regular customer. (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧

what we also like about it is the silence in the store, since it is a study/working hub and the wide variety of menu to choose from (⸝⸝ ♡﹏♡⸝⸝)

If you're in Quezon City and craving Vietnamese cuisine, Hidden Vietnam is a must-visit! Nestled at 707 Commonwealth Cor., Valiant Street, Barangay Fairview, this cozy spot offers authentic Vietnamese dishes served à la carte or in group meals—perfect for sharing with friends or colleagues.

What We Ordered: Saigon Family Group Meal (Good for 4-6 Persons)

Here’s what our group feast included:

10 pcs. Tamarind Wings

10 pcs. Fried Spring Rolls

10 pcs. Fresh Spring Rolls

1 Tub of Stir Fry Noodle

1 Tub Breaded Tofu

1.5L Soda

Dish Highlights

Tamarind Wings The wings had a delightful tamarind glaze that wasn’t overly sour, balancing sweetness and tanginess perfectly. While the chicken inside was a bit plain, the flavorful coating made up for it.

Fresh and Fried Spring Rolls Both versions of the spring rolls were a hit! The fresh spring rolls were packed with vibrant, crisp ingredients, and the fried ones had a golden crunch that paired wonderfully with the sauces. Although traditionally served with peanut butter sauce, I opted for their special vinegar sauce (because I’m a self-proclaimed vinegar enthusiast!)—and it didn’t disappoint. We loved them so much, we ordered 12 more!

Stir Fry Noodle Unfortunately, I didn’t get to taste this one as my teammates devoured it before I had a chance. Safe to say, it must’ve been good! I’ll make it a priority on my next visit. 😉

Breaded Tofu Surprisingly satisfying! The tofu was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and stayed intact—a feat for breaded tofu. Dipped in their special vinegar sauce, it was a delightful treat.

Atmosphere & Ambiance

The place is compact but perfect for a casual meeting or small gathering. It has a relaxed vibe, with a cool temperature that’s a welcome escape from the heat outside. Our CEO particularly loved their quirky uniforms, which had “WHAT THE PHO” printed on them—definitely a conversation starter!

Final Thoughts

Though I didn’t get to sample the noodles, the dishes I tried left a great impression. One minor observation: I noticed some similarities between Vietnamese and Thai food. It makes me curious to explore more distinct Vietnamese flavors in the future.

Tom Yum Chicken with Coconut 🍲 🌶 Spiciness: 3/5 ⭐ Rating: 4/5 This dish packs a spicy punch, so beware if you’re not into heat! The coconut adds a creamy balance, but the sour tang (likely from tomatoes) keeps the flavor vibrant. The chicken? Tender and flavorful. Loved it, but my spice tolerance was definitely tested.

Papaya Salad 🥗 🌶 Spiciness: 5/5 ⭐ Rating: 2/5 This classic Thai appetizer is not for the faint-hearted. It’s spicy right from the first bite—even the peanuts add a kick! As someone who isn’t a fan of intense heat, I couldn’t enjoy it fully. But for spice lovers? This might be your jam.

Fried Rice Seafood 🍤🐟 ⭐ Rating: 5/5 An absolute winner! The serving was generous, loaded with fresh seafood, and perfectly seasoned. It’s flavorful without being spicy, which made it my go-to favorite of the night.

Pad Thai Chicken 🍜 ⭐ Rating: 5/5 This one was a crowd-pleaser! The noodles were perfectly cooked, the chicken was flavorful, and the balance of sweet, savory, and tangy was spot-on. Almost didn’t get my fair share because everyone kept going back for more!

Fried Spring Rolls 🥟 ⭐ Rating: 4/5 While I usually prefer fresh rolls, these crispy bites were still delicious. The dipping sauce had a mild spiciness, but it was manageable and complemented the rolls well. A solid choice for those looking for something light yet satisfying.

The Vibe 🌟

Patche’s is more than just great food—it’s a whole experience. The cozy, air-conditioned space is buzzing with diners, yet it never feels overcrowded. The friendly and accommodating staff add to the charm, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable visit.

I was with some foreigner friends, and let me tell you, the “English mode” activated real quick. 😂 It made the experience even more memorable (and slightly hilarious).

One of the best things about Payapa Café is its wide-ranging menu that spans from smoothies and coffee to burgers, wings, waffles, rice bowls, and more. Their offerings are affordable, making it a go-to for those who want great food without breaking the bank.

What We Tried 🍹🍴

Strawberry Tea 🍓 ⭐ 3/5 A sweet option for juice lovers, though it leaned a little too sugary for my taste. It’s like a strawberry juice rather than a tea, but still refreshing.

Café Latte ☕ ⭐ 4/5 This one was for Ate Cla, and as a former barista herself, she gave it her nod of approval. Creamy, smooth, and satisfying!

Onion Rings 🧅 ⭐ 5/5 A standout! The generous serving size, real onion rings, and perfect crispiness made this dish a favorite. Not oily or overly spicy—just the right balance.

Chicken Katsu 🍗 ⭐ 3/5 The flavor was okay, but the sauce was a bit overpowering, making it a little umay (too rich). The breading, while crispy, was slightly rough on the palate.

Pork Liempo 🥓 ⭐ 4/5 Tender and juicy! Ate Cla, being an HRM grad, appreciated the texture and taste. A classic done right.

Sparkling Coffee Jelly ✨ ⭐ 5/5 A highlight of my visit! The creamy whipped topping with shimmery sparkles was so satisfying. The flavor balance—from the bold coffee bitterness to the sweet creaminess—was just right. Plus, the generous coffee jelly made this drink a treat with every sip.

Kiwi Popping Bobbas 🥝 ⭐ 4/5 Refreshing and fun to drink! The tartness of the kiwi might surprise you, but it’s balanced by the burst of sweetness from the popping bobbas. Bonus points for the real kiwi bits—super satisfying for someone who loves textures while sipping!

Fish and Fries 🐟🍟 ⭐ 4/5 Generous portions and thankfully, not greasy. The fries were crispy, and the fish had a decent crunch too, though the slight fishy aftertaste might be off-putting to some. The white sauce (whatever it’s called!) paired perfectly and elevated the dish.

Mojos and Fries 🥔 ⭐ 4/5 Perfectly cooked and not oily at all. While the serving size felt a bit small for me, the flavor and texture made up for it. Loved the classic catsup and creamy white dip pairing!

The ambiance is everything. Picture warm lights, inviting interiors, and that homey vibe that just makes you want to stay for hours. It’s got just the right balance of chill and lively energy—ideal for groups or solo cafe dates.

Their staff? Super mabait and accommodating, kahit medyo late na kami dumating. Plus, they offer a variety of food and drinks, although heads up, some items might not be available (hello, out-of-stock dilemmas).

The Food 🍓🫶🏻

I went for their Strawberries and Cream—and wow. 😍 It wasn’t just strawberry-flavored; there were real strawberry chunks in it! That fresh, tangy-sweet flavor made the experience even better. Definitely a must-try if you're a fan of fruity, dessert-like drinks.

As for the rest of the menu, the options looked promising, so I’m excited to come back and try more (assuming everything’s in stock next time).

The Crew Drama 😂😭

Okay, food and service were top-tier, but my friends? Sabotage level 9000. Grabe ang bullying session nila sa akin that night—legit group effort. Humanda kayo sa ganti ng api. Charot! 😂

The first thing you'll notice is how quiet and calming the place is. Whether it's their design intention or just my luck that day, the serenity was unparalleled. It’s the kind of café where you can sip on tea and finally get that elusive focus—perfect for the student grind. Bonus points for their WiFi vouchers! 🙌🏻 The hour-long access is a lifesaver when the internet at home just isn’t cutting it.

Admittedly, I forgot the exact names of what we ordered (classic me 🤦🏻‍♀️), but everything was chef’s kiss.

Signature Black Tea 🍋: My favorite part of the visit! This wasn’t your average lemon tea—it struck the perfect balance of tangy and sweet without being overpowering. Super refreshing and definitely worth a try if you’re into light, citrusy drinks.

Breakfast Set 🥓🍳: This came with bacon, Korean spam, and soft, runny eggs (not my thing, so my friend gladly ate them 😂). It also had a side of veggies and crispy toasted bread. Surprisingly filling despite its simple presentation!

My tropa gave the food a solid 9/10—and I couldn’t agree more. 🥰

Customers appreciate the rich and flavorful broths, fresh ingredients, and well-textured noodles. Beyond ramen, the restaurant also offers sushi rolls, yakimeshi, and other Japanese favorites.

I ordered Miso Ramen that embodies classic Japanese flavors. Priced at approximately ₱460. The dish features a well-balanced blend of miso paste, tender pork slices, a soft-boiled egg, sweet corn, leeks, and a rich pork broth. The texture of the noodles is firm yet springy, complementing the broth's savory depth.

I personally like the bar where we are eating where we can see how our foods were cooked and prepared. The cozy ambiance of the restaurant makes it an ideal spot for a satisfying meal​. ⭐: 5/5

How to write smut ?

writing smut depends on each person's writing style but i think there's something so gut-wrenchingly beautiful about smut when it's not very graphic and vivid. like., would this turn on a reader more?

"he kissed her, pulling her body closer to him."

or this?

"His lips felt so familiar it hurt her heart. His breathing had become more strained; his muscles tensed. She let herself sink into his embrace as his hands flattened against her spine. He drew her closer."

(Before proceeding further, these are all "in my opinion" what I think would make it better. Apply parts of the advice you like and neglect the aspects you do not agree with it. Once again I'm not saying you have to follow a certain type of style to write smut! Creative freedom exists for a reason!)

One may like either the top or the bottom one better, but it totally depends on your writing to make it work. Neither is bad, but the second example is more flattering, talking literally. (Here is me an year after writing this post, i think, either is amazing, depending on the context. the type of book you're writing, your writing style and preferences!)

express one's sensory feelings, and the readers will automatically know what's happening.

writing, "her walls clenched against him, her breath hitching with his every thrust" is better than writing, "she was about to cum".

(edit: once again, hi, it's me. Either is amazing depending on ur writing style. Everything at the end is about taste.)

here are some vocabulary you can introduce in your writing:

some adverbs to use: desperately, hurriedly, knowingly, teasingly, tauntingly, aimlessly, shamelessly, breathlessly, passionately, delicately, hungrily

her skin flushed

he shuddered when her body moved against his

he planted kisses along her jawline

her lips turned red, messy, kissed and flushed.

his hands were on his hair, pulling him.

light touches traveled down his back

words were coiled at his throat, coming out as broken sobs, wanting more

her legs parted, sinking into the other's body, encircling around their waist.

+ mention the position, how they're being moved around---are they face down, kneeling, or standing, or on top or on bottom--it's really helpful to give a clear picture.

+ use lustful talk, slow seduction, teasing touches, erratic breathing, give the readers all while also giving them nothing. make them yearn but DO NOT PROLONG IT.
