It shook its head back and forth as if waving goodbye, before deciding to return to patrolling.

The sentry clicked when the merc poked it.

"Beeeeeep."

That was its explanation of having a very intelligent, yet very forgetful Engineer. Of course, the other probably couldn't understand, but the sentry carried on, forgetting that it couldn't speak english.

Had the sentry the ability to speak, it would have tried singing along as well, but it only had clicks and beeps at its disposal, a language not that many others understood. Engineers sometimes and other sentries, but not that many others.

It continued to hum along to the song, contented with the walk. It didn't really realize how heavy it was, but it could have weighed more had it a full round of ammo in its top.

And the sentry did in fact survey its new surroundings. Anyone’d be happy to move to a different spot after being stuck in the same one for hours on end. Days on end, even, if the sentry stayed up that long.

The little gun beeped out a little tune as the two of them walked. A typical song one would hear, such as the railroad, or jingle bells, or some other small short ditty everyone knew by heart.

More efficiency = less bullets used = more ammo left = more kills. Made sense to the little machine.

It just now took notice that the other happened to be wearing a BLU outfit. It'd been too distracted by the wings.

And so the wee sentry did; firing a shot at the red dot. The dot didn't disappear, and the sentry understood that because it knew how lasers worked. Sort of. It knew they were spots of light and not actual objects.
