I was drafting a joke post about, like “is it okay to be a picturesquely tormented twink if you’re a cub? Asking for a friend,” and then my mind made the leap from tormented twinks to Hamlet, and then I thought to myself “wait—when was the last time I saw a fat Hamlet?” The only high-profile one I’m aware of is Simon Russell Beale in the late 90s, who was apparently brilliant. My point is, we should let fat people play Hamlet.
