Participatory Workshop for Energy Healers

In this workshop we practice techniques for removing, releasing and transmuting heavy or harmful energy using the body as a healing tool.

When you work with the human energy field, you will feel many different kinds of heavy energy in and around the body of your client.

This heavy energy may be dark or greyish blah-feeling. It may consist of negative or harmful emotions. It may be an expression of pain, drug toxicity, or disease. Some heavy energies are in your client’s field because of other people’s bad vibes, or a toxic home or  work environment.

Different energies require different handling. So it is worth having many different techniques and approaches in your healing toolbox.

We are not going to cover all the possibilities, but we are going to cover the following ones.

Learn how to do dowsing with a pendulum. Clear blocks to dowsing with a pendulum accurately and get to learn and practice with other students online. Come to our pendulum workshop.

This is part of a series of online healing and intuitive workshops that will be offered throughout the year.

We meet online in Zoom in a small group of healers, intuitive, psychics, at all levels of skill and experience. And we learn, practice and integrate together.

Each online workshop is 80 minutes long. They are participatory and are all about active experiential learning, connecting to your intuition, growing, healing and developing your skills.

A pendulum is basically a weight on a string or chain that can swing freely. It is a great tool for not only developing your intuition, but for using your intuition to go through a list of possibilities. You can do this very fast and efficiently using yes/no questions.

You can use your pendulum to measure and indicate the spin and health of the major and minor chakras in the body, to indicate the direction of flow of leylines and other earth energies and to measure the health and vitality of the human energy field.

Using a pendulum is a simple process. Learning to stay in neutral and connected to your intuition is a simple process, but does take quite a bit of practice. We will practice together, have fun, connect and collectively shift whatever we need to shift to support you in this work.

The workshops are not recorded – they are an intimate space, so please be prepared to take notes.

You don’t need to buy an expensive pendulum. Any weight that can swing freely on a string is fine, but heavier is better than too light in the hand.

The Facilitator

The facilitator is Alex Edgar.

Alex has worked as a healer since about 1998, and started along this path in about 1991. She has also taught at various schools and universities for a number of years. Alex has written and created many online courses. She has also been part of Rape Crisis Counsellors training workshops as a facilitator and organizer. And she runs Reiki and Life Alignment energy healing workshops.

Please bring your own pendulum to the class. You’ll need to print a hard copy of your manual and charts, which will be available to download from this site.

We will explore how to safely get the vibration of new symbols before receiving attunements and how to set healthy boundaries as an energy healer. Usui Reiki is very pure and has lovely high vibrations, but it is always important to be empowered and aware with your spiritual practices.

Distance Healing

We will also go over the dos and don’ts for distance healing, get some more practice and learn simple techniques that you can always use in your healing practice.

With distance healing, when you first start out, it helps to find a partner who is willing to receive the healing at a specific time each day for a while. Then you can compare notes and get a feeling for the energy.

Each modality of energy healing has its own vibrational frequencies, and it takes time to become conscious of the energies and sense them clearly. It really helps to have a designated partner – preferably with significant health problems and a high level of sensitivity and openness. Everyone’s energy is different, and you will find some individuals much easier to perceive and to influence than others. It is a good idea to work with someone with whom you have a high compatability.

What is healing?What is healing? It is a restoration of wholeness and integrity. The word “heal” has the same root as the word “whole”. So it is creating, mending, or rediscovering wholeness.What is Energy Healing? It is the process of helping a person to come back into integrity, while working with the human subtle bodies, meridians and chakras to help this to happen holistically, incorporating mind, body, and soul.In holistic care the central principle is to integrate your body, mind and spirit so that energy and awareness become blissful, aligned, and synchronised.This in turn enables a return to physical and mental well-being.And it is a process. The outcome is not certain or fully in our control.We use two main modalities online – Reiki and Life Alignment – using intuition and listening deeply for the needs of the client.Why online? Online is simply easier. If you can, I recommend finding a healer near you, but this is not always practical or affordable. Working online makes things much easier for both client and practitioner.
