I find it so interesting the way Thee feels comfortable being open and flirty with Rati, while it is also made clear that Thee knows he can’t be open about his sexuality. He’s definitely testing the waters with Rati, with the “Maybe I’ve something hidden”, but even though he knows Rati knows the rumours about him, he never thought Rati was distancing himself because of that, only because of Thee’s lie.

I just love how Thada is all about romantic gestures and these big words, and Armin is a little like “okay, calm down, that’s a bit much” but also super moved by it!

Is Top Form worth watching?

Scouted for his good looks Jin is somewhat dispassionate about acting, until he meets the famous actor Akin. Instantly infatuated with Akin, Jin decides to become a great actor, with the sole goal of being able to stand by Akin’s side.

Akin, who takes a lot of pride in acting and initially dislikes Jin for his stiff acting, misunderstands Jin’s sudden eagerness for competitiveness. As Akin starts warming to Jin’s earnestness and persistence, their relationship is threatened not only by Akin’s insecurities, but also outside forces of a work environment that pit the two as rivals.

The whirlwind romance of Jin and Akin is intense and raw, and I was mesmerized by these breathtaking moments where time stops and the world closes in on Jin and Akin, highlighting the connection and attraction between the two.

I love how Top Form utilizes the story being about actors, not only to comment on show business and celebrity culture, but the way the series uses their rehearsing and acting scenes to reflect their conflicts and their lines to say what they can’t otherwise say out loud.

I had expected more of a toxic obsession romance, but while Jin does push Akin’s boundaries, for the most part he’s very darling. Smart Chisanupong is excellent as Jin, with these amazing puppy eyes wordlessly conveying Jin’s obsession and affection for Akin! Boom Raveewit’s portrayal of Akin is absolutely beautiful. He brilliantly carries the emotional nuances of Akin, who is guarded, arrogant and childish, yet vulnerable, loving and cute. Their intense chemistry only furthers an already interesting dynamic!

Top Form is not only wonderfully acted, but also very attentive to its visual aspects. It's very playful in its portrayal of Jin and Akin’s connection, and sets very captivating scenes through intimate close-ups and lighting. The pace of the series is quite fast, but I didn’t find it too rushed.

The series has a beautiful moment of coming full circle in the end, offering a touching story worth all the conflict and heartbreak!

Bison hearing Kant’s apology and still continuing with the revenge plan! I love our feral murder kitten!

Kant snapping at Bison when asking him to hit him was very interesting.

His image in front of Bison is very polished, showing only what he thinks will get Bison to fall for him, and that moment was obviously a crack in that mask

But even outside his persona with Bison, we haven’t really seen him being aggressive. Like he’s very proactive when flirting, sure, and he was threatening with that guy in the bowling alley, but that was also for show. With Fadel he either stands his ground, but doesn’t escalate, or actively tries to deescalate, and with the police guy he doesn’t push back much either. We also know that he is reasonably scared of Bison and Fadel.

While he is not above lying, manipulating and drugging apparently, he so far hasn’t seemed like the type to have outbursts like that…

So I wonder if we’ll get to see more of that aggression later on??

I’m still liking The Heart Killers, but I think Style is a very weak point of the series.

I feel Style isn’t very developed… we are starting to get some very interesting backstory of Fadel, Bison’s objectives and character we’ve sort of had a good idea of from the beginning, and Kant has a strong motive to do what he’s doing, and thought he might be a little more shitty than he needs to be we get why he’s doing it… but with Style I’m lacking a bit of reason to root for him. He went straight for the harassment “flirting” from the beginning, not even trying other methods, which to me cast him in a bad light. And I’m not really finding anything to outweigh that. We don’t really know much about him except he works with his dad, he doesn’t really seem to have much going on. We are told he’s Kant’s crazy friend, but we haven’t really seen him do any crazy behaviour a part for his harassment of Fadel. And I get he’s the one who knows the least about what’s actually going on, but I wish he had a bit more of a developed background. And it might come, but right now I’m really lacking seeing a likeable side of Style… And something that would broaden his character a bit, so he’s not just there to be a love interest

Anyways Kant and Styles douchbaggery definitely reached new heights last night, and I do find it entertaining that in this series about contract killers the normal guys are the shitty ones!

Rewatched the GMMTV2025 teasers and here are my thoughts on the lineup:

Ticket to Heaven - religious angst directed by p’Aof? This looks to be a masterpiece. I have no doubt GeminiFouth can pull this off and I’m sure I’m gonna love every heartbreaking moment of it!

Memoir of Rati - I’m a sucker for period dramas and this just looks beautiful and with an interesting storyline as well!

Girls Rule - Messy GL directed by Jojo?! All I can say is thank you! I’m seated for this!

Whale Store xoxo - It’s MilkLove, ofc I’ll watch it. It looks super super cute and I’m excited to see them outside a school setting!

Only Friends: Dream On - I SCREAMED! Mulitple times! I’m so fucking down for this! Messy exes EarthMix, Only Friends season 2, Boston! I’m ready!

Burnout Syndrome - It’s OffGun, it’s directed by Nuchy, what can I say, except I’m in? Looks messy in a delicious way

Cat for Cash - This is straight out of a fanfic. The boys got their rom-com, but Khaos character still crying over him mother, because of course we need a bit of angst from these two. I’m not sure it’s my thing, with the talking cats and all, but it’s FirstKhao, so I’ll be watching.

My Magic Prophecy - looks like the exact same formula JimmySea always do, but if it works or works I guess? Also Jimmy just keeps getting hotter?

Me and Thee - PondPhuwin has a spell over me and I didn’t even know why. The moment Pond showed up I was down for this! And I don’t even like comedy!

Dare You to Death - I’ve grown very fond of Joong, but am still a little on the fence about Dunk, but this looks like a good role for him.

That Summer - Looks very cute. I liked WinnySatang better in We Are than in MSP, so might check it, but mostly because of Mond!

A Dog and a Plane - I’ve yet to watch a TayNew series (!), but it looks fun! And Tay is 👀

Wu - didn’t tell us much, but looks intriguing. Word on the street says it’s bromance not BL, but can you do string of fate without romance??

Love You Teacher - when from oh damn chemistry to nope … but I do love Santa so maybe? Also, I know Santa is baby and sunshine smile, but I really want him to do more serious stuff, we know he can pull it off, he was so great in My Only 12%

Melody of Secrets - It’s different from ForceBooks usual, but I’m neither into FB nor horror, so probably not for me. I am very into Boun though, so maybe

My Romance Scammer - I feel like this one is either gonna be really (surprisingly) good or really bad

Boys in Love - I’m only here for Papang and Pod! I really wanted them to lead a series :(

Head 2 Head - yeah it looks cute, but doesn’t spark much interest for me
