We’ve gone #plantbased 🍃 . . Why? We grew up predominantly plant based. My parents were vegetarians for many many years. It was only when we got older that we started eating meat more - then I fell into that trap of 6 meat meals a day ( following that common meal prep trend ) and then hello flare ups of Psoriasis. My gut was suffering. . . We ( @adrenaline_dad and I ) have joined a 30 day challenge to eat no meat - give the system a break. I realised that I was force feeding myself with animal protein, I didn’t entirely like the taste but was eating it for the sake of it. . . Since studying Nutritional Foundations these last 3 semesters - I found that if you choose the right foods, you won’t miss out on your protein intake and if anything consuming more colours of the rainbow being plant based, you’re exposing yourself to a wonderful variety of micronutrients which most miss out on a daily basis. . . There is something really beautiful about consuming health - the vitality spike you get from nourishing the body with whole foods 😍. . . I am down almost 4% body fat and muscle mass is up, so there goes the myth that you can’t grow muscle on plant based. . . . If you ever feel lost, dis jointed or need a recharge - go back to where it all started. . . Go back to the places that used to be carefree, the places that feel like HOME. . . I lost my grandparents one after the other quite quickly a few years ago, and they held and still do hold a very special spot in my heart. My grandmother was a world of wisdom - I am who I am because of her guidance and no bullshit - take no backward steps for no body. . . I swam in the water where they’re ashes were scattered, I took my own children to the places where I created memories with them. I spoke to the both of them, said hey and told them the water was f*cking freezing but I’m in here for them. . . When you can whole heartedly look at yourself - and love thy self for who you truly are - you have come full circle. . . I have a weekly practice of standing bare bones in front of the mirror and talking sweet beautiful positive comments to myself. I don’t stand there and pick out the things that aren’t perfect - I focus on the things that have and are serving me. I thank my body for being functional, I thank my curves, I thank my breast for re empowering me through a HUGE journey and I just say I love you and I thank you. . . Be naked, be comfortable, stretch marks, sagged skin and all - we are sometimes on this earth for a very short time, and living in a body that you don’t appreciate is a hell of a waste. . . Sitting in those vibes ✨ . . When you cut away the bullshit, remove toxicity from your life, nourish your soul and physical body, find someone who loves you on a soul level, create amazing sexual energy and moments, delve deep and do soul work, remove the ego, don’t fear judgement - everything changes ... EVERYTHING! . . It’s taken me 32 years to get here - and its only really been the last year this massive transition faze has happened. I never used to love my self, I was extremely self conscious. . . Trust me when I say - something magical happened when I removed the implants - it’s really hard to explain, but it’s a feeling! I no longer feel toxic on so many levels - I catch myself and I’m like damn woman - you’re beautiful! We all are, some just don’t see it! I wish for everyone to have self love - I really do! It’s fucking wonderful! . . If it were socially acceptable I’d probably be nude 24/7 😂 . . Summer weather is here and staple clothing item is this! . . Don’t speak to me before I have my coffee - my mantra on this trip 😂 . . I’m grateful to be able to travel and spend time away growing, sometimes we need to take a step back away from our situations to get a bigger scope on what’s happening, where you need to go and re align. . . We live in a world now where we worry what others think, we are afraid of judgement, we left fear ( whatever that encapsulates for you - it can mean many of things ) it holds us back from doing wonderful and great things. We tend to put ourselves in a comfortable space because we are worried about playing big and worried of doing something that may cause “opinion”. I listened to an amazing talk from a woman the other night, and it literally put fire back in my belly. She has worked as a success coach for some of the biggest names in this industry and she was FIRE 🔥 #zerofs . . Let me tell you this - we aren’t guaranteed time on this earth, we aren’t sold a ticket with a set expiry date - LIVE LARGE - GO BIG! . . Fuck it and do what your heart desires, be afraid, be vulnerable, be passionate and take no prisoners. . . I know so many of you wanna live big, all have dreams and desires, and if you don’t - well wake up and get some, because this life isn’t a rehearsal. Having worked in GP world since I was 16, I have seen first hand how over prescribing is rampant, quick antibiotics and you’re out the door. This is what drove me to start studying holistic health. . . We tend to lean so heavily on western medicine (which is an amazing system when used properly) but we have forgotten about eastern being used in conjunction. . . I am such a HUGE advocate for all modalities being used together - and coming to UTAH to see Prime Meridian Health Centres by @doterra , my heart was exploding seeing GP world + Eastern and other modalities all blended. . . I really believe this is the next and best foot forward for health and medical! . .
