A Guide About Time: The White Rabbit Tale - by Gallak
I’ll tell you a story before it tells itself, it’s settled during 4.543.000.000 years (if that is your measure of time of course). That’s according to science the age of Gaia, 4,5bi years of history, gigaanums of air being breathed, zillions of love and hate stories being lived, 5973590700000000 seconds spent and counting…
Time, how such human invention can cause me so much anxiety? Like Chronos, an hourglass is my cage, time is all around me, I can even touch it, but I can control it, it’s drifting down the drain hole.
Take this text as a fable, where you can be the main character, the White Rabbit, the one who will understand that you don't need to be always running against the time. In fact, all you need is to stop just for a second and then you’ll realize that time isn’t so evil, in few words the moral of this story is learn to be friends with time and things will be easier cause now you have an ally, one that doesn’t demand from you follow life so strictly.
Since we are children we are taught to be like the white rabbit, that things must be done against the clock, and to see time only as a spoiler. After all, it takes all the good things and makes them come to a definitive end (even if it's necessary so the new can come). And the funniest part is that we’ve been guilting something that only exists in our minds.
When we are young we feel invincible, the feeling that nothing can hit us is the most special and selected gift that life can give to us, but sooner or later this gift has to be taken or returned because as we grow it needs to come to an end. When it happens our anxiety will attack, the feeling of desperation will be stronger than ever, then we’ll be forced to find hope through faith (it doesn’t matter what), it's all because the first time we are consciously fragile and our nemesis is immortal.
But it’s understandable why we have wondered about such a gadget, because it's extraordinary to see all the things marked by time and how they brought us here, it’s even more special to learn with them. Also how we are pieces existing right now, in a blink of an eye we won’t and never will truly know how it was before or how it will be after.
All we can do is the same that our ancestors, the cavemen, live our lives and leave marks in the world, and hope for someday it to be found and we’ll be remembered, maybe celebrated. And while we grow that aging will be beautiful, we can try to cover up the wrinkles, but we’ll never be able to hide from ourselves the adventure we’ve accumulated.

“Stand” - by Gallak
Stand, according to the Oxford Dictionary, the first meaning attached to this word is: “to be on your feet” It’s the first time to be on your own, the first step to growth, the first stage to independence, and in the future have your own thoughts, beliefs, and statements, that would resume in what makes us individuals.
Also according to Oxford, the 15th meaning of the word “stand” would be “to have a particular attitude or opinion about something or towards somebody”. Our Attitudes could be described as the main definer as human beings, the way we think, talk, walk, what we eat or dress, everything is a political act, much more than raised fists, yells and posters, being your own riot is a stand.
The word Stand is quite meaningful so that it can fit all statements as possible, and those make us who we are, cause we are more than just signs, we are un-understandable. Take me as an example, I’m a hippie and a punk, a weird combination of curtain bangs and part side shaved, vegan leather jacket and harem pants, round sunglasses, and boots, but an amazing taste for music. More than peace and love, a perfect match between chaos and harmony is my essence as much as perfume.
Sometimes I stand for silly things, such as the world's right of trying chocolate once in one life. But I’ve been learning as much as I've been discovered, and since I tried grownup’s pants I know that I gotta stand for bigger deals.
As Woolf, I stand through books (mostly reading them),
As Parks, I stand saying what I think
As Luther King, I stand sharing my dreams
As Beauvoir, I stand leaving questions as my mark
As Malala, I stand studying
As Liz Taylor, I stand using my privilege to give voice to the oppressed
As P. Johnson I stand questioning authorities’ abuse
As Madonna, I stand through art
As RuPaul, I stand dressing as I want
As Mother Theresa, I stand welcoming my neighbors
As me, I stand being true to myself
I stand for peace.
I stand for justice and equity.
I stand for the right to be your true self.
I stand for loving.
I stand for more things than I can remember.
I stand for nothing.
I stand for the possible and impossible.
I stand for so many other crucial things.
I stand for freedom likebirds.
