wow just reread some of my stranger things headcanons because they popped up in my notifications and why are some of these actually so good 😭😭 i miss the s4 release era now things were sooo chaotic but so good and even, dare i say, hopeful

realising i understand aziraphale better than most people ever will THIS WAS ME BEFORE SEASON 2 EVEN AIRED OH LORD.

oh. guess i wasn’t going crazy after all and it really was that deep 🤡🤡🤡🤡 (i am sorry for predicting the crowley and being lonely dialogue btw)

there's just so much to dissect with "the precious peaceful fragile existence i carved out for myself" "i thought we carved out for ourselves" "SO DID I!"

crowley has always felt so alone since the start of time because remember how he wasn't even close with the other fallen angels; he just happened to be around them at the time. he really tried, failed at some things, and succeeded at others to finally make a place and identity for himself in this world.

and sure, then he also suggested to aziraphale that they should team up and have each other's backs. unfortunately, crowley is just so not used to love that even now, he cannot let his friend know he is living out of his car, and ask for help. he cannot fathom that his angel could love him unconditionally, and he still believes he is alone at the end of it all.

then we have aziraphale, who realised during armageddon that crowley would always be there for him. he will always be crowley's number one priority. he always thought it would be them against the universe and the higher powers. so to hear that crowley is only thinking about himself would have stung.

and crowley's final blow once again calling back to their season 1 fight about how there's no heaven or hell, no right or wrong, there's just them. for 6000 years, it's just been aziraphale and crowley, together, helping each other when needed the most. and if aziraphale cannot protect himself from gabriel then what does it matter if crowley defends him or not.

maybe i am going crazy and this wasn't that deep but isn't that the beauty of tumblr?

It means that Jon Hamm, David Tennant and Michael Sheen and Miranda Richardson (and possibly others) can't go out now and promote it, and that the SDCC event will definitely be a screening and not actors talking on a panel.

After watching Good Omens just about 20 times all the way through there's still a question that sticks with me every time I watch episode 6.

When Crowley (in Aziraphale's body) and Aziraphale (in Crowley's body) buy ice cream are they eating the flavour of ice cream they themselves like to eat or are they eating the flavour of ice cream the other would want to eat because they are in each others body and want to keep up appearances?

(hope that wasn't too wordy anyway have wonderful day!)

It's very hard to keep count of the questions that come in here, but I think that must be the most-asked question. Certainly it's in the top three.

I love that it's the thing people wonder about the most.

the good omens brainrot is so strong i feel like writing an aziracrow fic… maybe i will finally be out of my year long slump

can you just imagine aziraphale telling him "but... you're a demon. i'm an angel... crowley, we can't. i'm sorry" in 1941 which hurts SO MUCH because that is precisely when aziraphale himself realised he was in love with crowley too but aziraphale is just such a believer of faith that he thinks falling in love is not part of the ineffable plan and therefore must not happen, and therefore he willingly strips his own autonomy away.

add on how the years after he must have been riddled with so many questions and perhaps even guilt over crowley's request to attain holy water OH I THINK I AM GOING MAD.

oh i completely understand you i love reading the fics where crowley has just about had enough with his patience and just gives up on waiting for aziraphale to figure it out and just decides to take action instead

i have a feeling we might get something like that in s2 for sure because so far nothing seems to be going crowley’s way lol he’s definitely… frustrated to say the least!
