With two albums under their belt, Brisbane four piece Cub Sport released their third self-titled album on 19 January 2019. Their most intimate record to date, the band delved into self-discovery and self-reflection, with tracks that also include romance, loss and the in-between. machineheart- Who Said  LA based synth pop band machineheart has just dropped their new single “Who Said”. The four piece from Tahoma gained popularity with their single “Circles”, which was also featured on their debut EP In Your Dreams, released in 2015. The band also released a couple of singles, "Stonecold" and "Speak in Tongues," dropped in 2016 and 2017 respectively.

St. Vincent- Fast Slow Disco

Since the release of her fifth album “Masseduction” released on 13 October last year, Annie Clark aka St. Vincent released a “Fast” version of “Slow Disco”, which is one of the tracks taken from her latest album.

“Fast Slow Disco” is now available on all digital platforms.

James Blake- Don’t Miss It

Don’t miss out on the this latest single released by Mercury Prize winner James Blake.

Featuring Dom Maker from electronic band Mount Kimbie, it is the third single released by Blake in 2018 via 1800-Dinosaur. Previously, he also dropped the track “If the Car Beside You Moves Ahead” and the Black Panther soundtrack “King’s Dead” with rappers Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar, and Future.

RÜFÜS DU SOL- No Place 

In preparation for their upcoming third album, the Sydney trio has officially settled with the moniker RÜFÜS DU SOL. Formerly known as just RÜFÜS, frontman Tyron Lindqvist revealed that "We’re sick of the banter between the two characters. We wanted them to get along, live under the same roof," when interviewed about their decision on Australian independent music radio station Triple J earlier this week.

“No Place” is the first single released by the indie electronic band since the released of their sophomore album Bloom two years ago, which was received with widespread acclaim. While no official release date has been set for the upcoming album, it is anticipated to be dropped later this year. Stay tuned!

Maggie Rogers- Fallingwater

Best known for her Pharrell approved hit song “Alaska“, NYU alumni Maggie Rogers is back with her latest single “Fallingwater“.

Before her rise to fame, the Maryland native has released two independent albums, titled The Echo and Blood Ballet on 18 May 2012 and 2 July 2014 respectively, She has since signed with Capitol Records and Debay sounds, releasing her latest work, the acclaimed Now That The Light is Fading EP on 17 February 2017.

Courtney Barnett- Nameless, Faceless

Named one of the best new artists with the release of her Grammy nominated debut album  Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit in 2015, Tassie native Courtney Barnett dropped her second album Tell Me How You Really Feel last Friday on 18 May 2018 via Barnett's Milk! This is America is the latest single released by Donald Glover’s pseudonym, Childish Gambino, for his upcoming as yet untitled fourth studio album. it is believed to be his last record released under the moniker.  

Featuring background vocals from Young Thug, 21 Savage, Rae Sremmurd’s Slim Jxmmi, BlocBoy JB and Quavo, the new track hit no 1 on Billboard Hottest 100, which is Childish Gambino’s first no 1 hit single since his first debut.

Arctic Monkeys- Four Out of Five

One of the most anticipated albums of 2018, English indie rock band Arctic Monkeys have finally released their sixth studio album Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino, released on 11 May 2018 via Domino Recording Company. 

Departing from the sounds of their acclaimed fifth album AM with heavy guitar riffs, the band introduces us to a new sound in their latest installment, featuring lounge pop and space pop sounds with jazz influences, with many tracks highlighting piano work from frontman Alex Turner.

After the release of his second album In The Cards, Robert Delong is back with his latest single Favorite Color is Blue, with a more alternative approach as Robert expands from his electronic roots. Featuring guest vocals by K.Flay, her second album Every Where is Some Where was released early last year whereby it was nominated for two nominations for the 2018 Grammy awards.

Haiku Hands- Jupiter

Initially started out as a musical project by a crew of young artists, Haiku Hands has exploded onto the scene with their irresistibly danceable single “Not About You”. Since then, they have performed in many notable festivals around Australia, and they will be playing in the upcoming Splendour In The Grass Festival in July.

Haiku Hands will be embarking on a national tour, following a UK tour in May.
