Well, that answered that question. It didn't take much at all for Gold to put his go-bag away and leave to go meet them. He assumed (rightly, as he spied the Charizard overhead) that she'd land somewhere in the middle of town or on the edge, given she did not know where to go to his house.

"Hello there, Six. How are you? How was the flight?" Gold smiles as he approaches. His PokeGear buzzes - he'd clearly already seen her. "This must be Blazer. It is good to meet you too."

The townsfolk don't pay the meeting much mind - Gold has lived here since was a child, and people come and go all the time because of that fact. They simply carry on about their daily lives.

"My home is on the edge of town, backing out onto the forest. I could not reasonably accommodate my team otherwise." He smiles to her, glancing back towards the house. "Shall we? I'd be happy to help you with whatever you need there."

she'd been thinking on things for awhile after they had spoken. a lot of the things gold and her spoke about truly made her think. truly made her lose herself in her memories of the ruins. a hand reaches for her phone as she touches down in Johto, no rhyme or reason to her visit other than to see gold.

Gold nods with a smile.

"Sometimes they return to the Tower to rest for a while. Otherwise, they tend to travel around Johto and Kanto. You may be fortunate enough to see them in your time here."

Admittedly, it was a slim chance. But it was not impossible.

He cannot help but laugh softly at Hau's reaction, and he nods in return with a smile. "I admit, my situation is different to yours, but I can give you what I know to help you adjust. Your blessings are far more overt than mine are."

For one, Hau had functional wings!

Another nod then.

"Apparently so. The region has remained off-the-grid until somewhat recently. Six and I spoke properly in the last conference, where she filled me in on some things. As for her contact information--"

Gold pulls out his old, battered Pokegear and scrolls before he reads out the number.

"I will send word ahead that you will be in touch."

Gold smiles, warmly.

"Very much so. More so. In some ways it is a shame that more people cannot see it. Lord Ho-Oh occasionally returns to the top of the tower to rest; you may even catch a glimpse of it during your stay."

Another nod, then, as Gold lapses into thought.

"The Sages of the Sprout Tower were some of the first in Johto to truly accept Pokemon. Culturally speaking, it is common for there to be a degree of 'separation' here between ourselves and any Pokemon we may own. They are typically treated as pets, at best. They do not sit at the table, or share beds, that sort of thing. That used to be true of me, because of how my mother raised me. My father was not so strict - nor from Johto. That helped." Gold hums. "Times are changing, however, especially amongst the youth and in light of Ho-Oh's return to the region."

He glances out as people pass by.

"But do not be disheartened if you get a few strange looks." He offers a reassuring smile. "Ah, forgive me. Off-topic. So yes; even during the lowest point in our relations with Pokemon after Ho-Oh left, the Sages kept their beliefs. I was fortunate enough to get a chance to speak with Elder Li when I was just starting my journey. He proved to be a good influence. He will no doubt give you some excellent advice."

At this point, Gold thought Li would live forever. The old man was already ancient when Gold had met him over a decade ago.

"As for what you need help with... I would be happy to help, as best I can. Besides me, you would do well to reach out to the Champion of the Rareita region, Six. Her league has a unique form of battling where you fight alongside your Pokemon, if you wish."
