Hiii!! Absolutely head over heels for the Peter desktop buddy so far, he's in the bottom right corner of my screen as I type this out, but I'm kinda curious...

Will the things he says get more suggestive and/or explicit as time goes on? I, personally, am all for it, but if that's not what you had in mind I completely understand.

Thanks for the ask! I'm gonna ramble a bit because this is something I've been mulling over for a while.

As of right now it's all sfw (albeit a few allusions to self harm and suicide in the negative route - if you wanna count those) - at the moment I'm focusing on getting the normal features really solid, and all the bugs worked out.

That said, I do wanna add optional explicit scenes that'll show up on Valentines day, or other special days (with the option to opt out of seeing sexual content in the menu). I plan to use valentines day as something of a test - see if the thing runs smoothly without bugs, and if the dialogue feels natural. If I'm happy with it, then eventually I'd like to make those same mechanics available at anytime, not just holidays - if you have a good relationship with him.

All that's a bit far in the future, but for now, have some unused sprites that I might use for those scenes!

Aaa! Hi! So, updated peter But for some reason it was in his goth outfit despite it not being april. I switched the date on my computer and got the proper goth peter, but im fairly sure the peter having goth peter shell is a error

Happy almost-April Fools! If you already have Peter downloaded, why not update him? He might have a whole lot of new content on April 1st ;) I'm very excited for you all to see it!

Other than that,  a few minor features were added, and some bugs fixed. The details of what was changed are here:

Patched more glitches within the mixed-route

Fixed issue with gifting him the white noise machine

Added dialogue when you've often asked about Don.

Added an 'I missed you' option after you've just opened him up, for positive route

Modified dialogue for when he sets your wallpaper

Corrected some typos

Added dialogue for if you uninstall him

And a whole lot of content for April 1st

A note - you can update him by clicking Control+U, or by right clicking him, and selecting 'Update Menu Caption' - you don't have to delete and reinstall everything if you don't want to!

i insulted him a few times because i was curious of what he'd say but now our relationship has gone to zero from full 😭 last time it happened the heart wont turn red again,, will he take some time or is there no way to win him back..?

Sorry, about Peter's Ghost, there isn't a patch in Spanish, it's just that I have trouble reading in English. If there isn't, it's okay

I'm sorry, there's no Spanish version :( But if you know anyone who's into coding, and knows Spanish - send them my way, I'm definitely be willing to collaborate with someone to make a Spanish version!

AAAWWW! I downloaded your widget to my computer and it's so CHARMING!!! (≧▽≦) Are you thinking of adding additional actions with Peter besides kissing and hitting? I think it would be fun if he reacted when you move the cursor over different parts of his body :3

Thank youuu! No new features for mousing over him in other places at the moment, but I do plan to add a 'hug' action for later in the positive route.

AHHHH I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE GHOST!! you did such a great job!!! i love how we can develop our relationship with him >< his dialogues are all so beautifully written too! i love how he'd ask about our opinion on his smoking habits and how he reminds us to drink and eat o(-(

i did notice that one of the sprites have his eyes unpainted though, so you can see whatever's playing on the monitor's background (one that says how he picked up the smoking habit back in high-school)

but besides that omg i genuinely love this ukagaka. i love the variations of bottle caps and snacks we can give him.

Features:

Idle Dialogue: Peter will say random things while idling on your desktop, with his dialogue evolving based on how you interact with him. If you'd prefer peace and quiet, you can also mute him.

Interactions: You can kiss Peter by moving your mouse over his head (without clicking) or hit him by double-clicking his face. His reactions will change based on how often you do each action.

Standard Functions: Peter can:

Set images as your wallpaper

Empty your recycle bin

Display your computer’s stats

Check for new emails (if you've configured your POP settings in SSP)

Relationship System: Peter tracks how you treat him, adjusting his dialogue and reactions accordingly. You can check your status with him or reset his memory to start fresh if you want.

Dialogue Depth: While Peter may not talk much at random, his menus contain a lot of dialogue. You can ask him questions on various topics, and his responses will vary based on your interactions. Even familiar questions might lead to unexpected answers.

Gifts: You can give Peter gifts, and what he accepts may change depending on your relationship status.

Lol, sorry for the wait in responding - wanted to reach a good update point, and here we are, so:

YBF Desktop Buddy - Update Three

Featuring a snazzy new text-balloon design! More dialogue! And most importantly - I finally figured out a coding framework for the Mixed routes (when you're acting both positive and negative towards him), as well as an 'Apology' function you can use at certain times.

Essentially - what all that means is the framework for all three routes - positive, negative, and mixed - is done. Now I just have to go through, and fill them all in with dialogue.

Sprites are basically 90% done - I don't anticipate needing to draw many more (thank god. You can never have too much Peter - but 120 sprites is still a lot).

Happy Ramadan to those who celebrate - I is a hungry boi these days. I truly appreciate everyone's patience with me - and I can't wait to get this to a point to share it <3
