Hi folks,

I'm quite disheartened to have to make this post, but it's important to me to be transparent when others spread things that through vagueness provoke fear and unease. 

You may have seen a post from FloweryAnarchy about how she will be rewriting lore for her BG3 outlaws AU in order to keep her blog a safe space and warning people to stay safe online. 

This post is referencing me. 

I have no idea what she's referring to, or why she believes me to be as danger, as I was promptly blocked by her on all platforms. 

That's her right. Please do not bother her or reach out to her regarding this. I just want to make it known that the post is about me, because I don't want people seeing it to worry unnecessarily. 

To make it clear, I have never doxxed, stalked, or otherwise bullied anyone.

The last thing Gale expected when he opened the front door was to have his middle assaulted by a sobbing, eyebrowless eight-year-old. He’d heard a shriek, yes, but he’d brushed it off as Mireilla and Tara being slightly too rambunctious together. So what was she crying about?

“I didn’t mean to, Papa,” she sobbed, clutching his shirt tightly. “I didn’t mean to—I was just trying a cantrip and Mrs. Regalbrook’s rose bush was in the way and—and—you're going to make me get rid of Tara, aren’t you? Because it wasn’t her fault, it was mine—no, it’s Mrs. Regalbrook’s for having a stupid rose bush —”

“One thing at a time, Mireilla,” Gale said, gently unhooking her from around his waist and taking her by the shoulders. “Let’s forget about the rose bush for a moment. What happened to your eyebrows?”

“Nothing of great importance, Mr. Dekarios,” Tara trilled from behind the burning rose bush—the burning rose bush? Quickly Gale ran to the kitchen and grabbed a bucket of water, before hauling it outside and dousing it on the flames. Tara yelped in annoyance, but Gale didn’t care about getting the kitten wet. Tressym. Whatever.

He dropped the bucket on the ground and turned to face his daughter. He took a deep breath—no good in upsetting her further—before leaning over to look at her at eye level. “Mireilla,” he said, “what exactly happened?”

“Don’t be too harsh on the child,” an elderly voice called. Gale turned around to see an unfamiliar (Unfamiliar? No, that’s Elminster, but the words don’t leave Gale’s lips) bearded man standing behind the gate. Automatically, Gale pulled Mireilla behind him. Tara darted to join her.

“Astarion! What on Toril are you—”

Quickly, Astarion scoops Tara up. She yowls in protest but he covers her mouth as he leans against the wall, his ears twitching.

“...I agree that your vava takes too long getting ready.” Gale’s voice floats down the corridor and Astarion feels himself relax; he hadn’t heard the scuffle with Tara after all. “Still, we can’t blame him; he has no reflection after all, so it would take him a little longer to get ready, wouldn’t it, my lovely little butterscotch?” Mireilla babbles in response. She’s still focused on vowel sounds; her favourite one in the past tenday is one that sounds like an owl’s hoot. She makes that noise now, and Astarion can’t stop himself from smiling when he hears it.

“Ah, you’re quite right,” Gale says. “We were deciding which toys we were bringing with us, were we not? Let’s see—you’ve been rather enraptured with the rattle that…” Gale’s words fade away as Tara wrests her head from Astarion’s grip.

“You know, you could just go in there and join them,” Tara stage whispers, fluttering to the floor and staring up at Astarion disapprovingly. “I don’t see what you gain standing out here and only listening to them.”

“I believe we’ve been over this before,” Astarion whispers back. “They don’t talk the same way to each other when it’s all three of us in the room.” He doesn’t mention that he knows that Gale listens in on him too.

Tara sighs. “Well, I shall go and help Gale and Mireilla find a collection of toys to bring to the party,” she says, sticking her nose and tail up in the air. “You’re more than welcome to join us, if you wish.”
