"Dancing with the Stars" (Bước nhảy hoàn vũ)

The design team for many TV shows often outsources many small steps to freelancers. This time, I drew the elements to assemble the background for #Hooyeon's performance (the dance instructor is #Zhivko) in the "Bước nhảy hoàn vũ" reality show in Vietnam.

The costumes in the drawing are also based on the costumes of Hooyeon and dance instructor Zhivko.

__ Back story:

South Korea's main opposition leader Lee Jae-myung live-streamed himself climbing over a fence to enter the South Korean parliament building on Tuesday (December 3, 2024), shortly after President Yoon Suk Yeol declared martial law.

Security forces (including the 707 Special Forces, a counter-terrorism and hostage rescue unit) sealed off the building to prevent lawmakers from entering to vote against the declaration. Inside the building, lawmakers used everything from tables and chairs to sofas to block the doors to prevent the special forces from entering.

President Yoon has since retracted his order and is now facing public anger and opposition.

China, Japan and the US are monitoring the situation (North Korea is certainly monitoring but has not said anything), China and Japan have advised their citizens to avoid crowded places for fear that peaceful protests could turn violent and to be careful when expressing political views at this time, the US Secretary of Defense has also canceled a visit to South Korea after the martial law.

I searched online for Hmong weapons and found a knife (Hmong Bird Knife) that was so beautiful and unique that I added it to the character.

Because having only a sword is a bit too simple.

At first, I looked up weapons and saw that there were many other types of weapons, but this knife seemed very special.
