Hi there 🌱 I hope you are doing well. My name is Naser, and I’m from Gaza. I don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable, but I wanted to share a piece of my story — because right now, it’s the only way I know to try and survive.

This war has changed everything. I lost my mother and my sister. Our home is gone. What used to be a normal life — school, family meals, laughter — has been replaced by fear, rubble, and silence.

Now, I’m displaced with my three younger brothers. I’ve become their protector, their parent, their hope. We sleep side by side and I try to make them feel safe, even when I’m scared too.

We are trying to raise funds to rebuild our lives — to find a safe place, to go back to school, to have something to believe in again. I dream of going to university. My brothers have their own dreams too — of being a doctor, an engineer, just being kids again.

Kevin and Jean relationship is so sibling coded to me. like I saw someone once saying that Kevin leaving the nest is like the older sibling living a toxic household, he HAD to leave and could not afford to look back because if he did he would never have left. and he had to leave Jean behind even though it was what hurted him the most, Jean was not ready to leave and Kevin could not stay and die in the nest waiting for him to be. but he still made him promise that he would make it out alive, that he would be free to.

and later on when neil asks Kevin what he has to lose Kevin does not answer but he still has Jean to lose.

once Jean is freed form the nest kevin knows Jean needs help but he also knows he can't be the one to help him, not directly at least. Kevin gives Jean the ho chance of a future worth living with the trojans.

Jean also cares for Kevin sort of like a sibling, he calls Kevin out but he always decnds him in front of others. I'm sure there is more but I've not read tsc yet.

y'all I need advice.

so I've been kind of struggling with dysphoria in the past couple years and so I've questioned my relationship with gender quite a bit. and onestly I don't really know where I stand label wise, maybe genderfluid or something but I don't really care that much as long as i'm comfortable with myself (that's what I tell myself at least lol).

anyway sincey chest is what makes me feel the most dysphoria I've been thinking of getting a binder but I don't really know that much. I'll inform myself but if you have any advice they are very much welcomed.

Persephone who personally makes sure that the ones taken too early feel safe and secure in the Underworld

Demeter who gives Her best crops to food banks and homeless shelters

Hecate who is a street magician and does actual magical for the kids

Poseidon who finds the best seashells and leaves them on the beach for someone to find and treasure

I'll be honest I've just started watching gotham for the gays and I know they won't get together but this is not going to stop me from hoping.

i’m gonna be fr. i watched the tv show gotham purely for the queer coded characters and every time i finished an episode i hoped and begged to a higher power that in the next one, gordon would be hospitalized and in a coma for the remainder of the season simply so that the gays could have more screen time. but alas, such a season never arrived.
