it is April 22 which means it’s @biteghost character Eustals birthday! What do you do when your a big mafia boss but your smol daughter wants you to have a cupcake.  I drew furniture! A step toward actual backgrounds! One day....xD

This month has been a variable dumpster fire for me and I really wanted to draw something cute to save my sanity. So here is my OC Amalstra with @biteghost character Larry Lockjaw. One day I’ll draw a background... This does make me wonder, how would Larry react to someone being flirty with him? ANYWAY I am going to crawl back into my dumpster since the fire seems to have gone out.

Alright so I have been working on this for AWHILE. I really wanted to do a police lineup style to see everyone together! It’s not perfect but I tried to get everyone to their heights. So starting left to right first is Larry Lockjaw, my personal favorite <3 he came out a lot better than I expected! Tony “Crazylegs” Audino and Kevin “Doorman” Aiza the best couple, I am super excited to see these two goofs together! Gertrude Addie “The Spear” she likes to hit things! Also I have no idea what her shoes actually look like so….she got boots! Of course center stage we have our fish boss Eustal Apelli “King of the underworld” what can I say? He’s amazingly terrifying and I am looking forward to seeing him again! “Big Bro” Brutus Orion, I feel like other than Eustal he is the other person keeping this crazy family in line, also Kevin is totally not afraid of him! Agatha Rooks don’t know much about her but look how SMOL she is! I don’t know how this lady lives with all these literal giants. Marcy Breeze seems to be the gangs token human, no idea how she got mixed up with these monsters. Edwardo Aiza he’s Kevin’s cousin and probably regrets all his life choices that have lead him to be here. Olivia Heart loves drama and handing out naps to kids.

I really love these characters and am so glad I found Backlash.

~When bae picks what to do for date night~ It had to be done @biteghost / @askbiteghost xD. I can’t wait till we actually get to see them interact more! I like Kevin’s “DnD outfit” so I went with that one. Tony’s suit is annoying to draw and so are Kevin’s tats, I get why you put him in long sleeves. I was working on something else but got distracted by drawing this hehe.

Me: “Let me just look up a saxophone for reference.....*whispers softly* wtf is this instrument...wha...why does it have so many pieces? How does this even work!” This is it this is the best Edwardo I will ever draw and I even colored it! Please ignore the hands ugh I can’t draw hands to save my life but this turned out sooooo much better than I thought it would q.q I am proud of it! @biteghost / @askbiteghost I understand if you never draw Edwardo playing the sax its terrible.

SO I haven’t drawn in literal YEARS and just this rough doodle took me WAAAAY longer than I care to admit (I had to relearn my drawing tablet). I only colored his hair cause I felt I needed to, I am horrid with color and shading (and hands q.q). Thank you @biteghost / @askbiteghost for making such an amazing comic and character that rekindled my desire to draw again, I cannot wait to see more of him <3! Also I have never used tumblr so I hope I posted this correctly  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ P.S. Went through your old art posted on here and after rereading Backlash AGAIN. Damn I love Eustal (as all should). I for one welcome our terrifyingly attractive fishy overlord (but I still love Edwardo more).
