https://www.instagram.com/sakshayyy/ I’d like to nominate my best friend, my lover, my everything~ I met this precious being almost 4 years back in a new city, I’m an absolute introvert and it took all my courage to approach her (I wanted to sketch the print on her tee, an android eating an apple) and then I started making chibi versions of her. Before I met her I was so terribly shy I wouldn’t even talk to people on my own, not even via texts, I’d feel awkward sharing a room with someone or even trying on clothes together, she helped me overcome a lot, I can honestly say I’m so much happier now. I was in a tough place with issues at home, depressed, I’d hurt myself but just her presence made things better and she still does it for me, everytime I need support or just a talk I can depend on her. We’ve had our differences and still do but it never came in between us, we live in different cities, barely get the time to talk but that doesn’t matter, I know if I ever need her she’ll be there for me. Our relationship is weird, I’ve never been so intimate with me my whole life as I have been with her, in every way, I can bare my whole naked soul to her without any fear and I genuinely dislike people, so that is huge for me. I know all her insecurities and her secrets and sometimes things get hard, I want her to believe in herself as much as I believe in her, I would give up almost anything for her. She's going through a hard time right now, she refuses to see her worth and how beautiful she is. In fact this Jan we got matching tattoos, the famous "I am" quote from the Bell Jar-Sylvia Plath as a reminder of how we should cherish ourselves but she keeps faltering. I want her to realise how special she is, how much she means to me and a lot of other people, that she is the reason I am here and trying so hard, she's my light. We have a dream of someday opening our small tea house with comfy chairs and sofas, fairylights strewn all around and books everywhere, I hope it comes true♡
