There's something kinda funny about how RWBY just absolutely refuses to die despite a constant stream of adversity. The first season was objectively hot garbage but it still got a second season. The creator of the series whose passion project the whole thing was passed away in a freak accident after the second season but they just kept going without him and somehow a significant portion of the fanbase went along for it. The budget got slashed in Season 5 because of gross mismanagement but no worries! The fans stuck with it and they got it back for Season 6. Then a few seasons later the entire company that's been producing it went completely tits up and we all assumed THAT would be the end but nope!!! They got bought by Viz. RWBY has now outlived both the man who dreamt it up and the company that produced it. In an era where numerous streaming shows get axed after one or two seasons despite being critical successes with large fanbases it is completely baffling that a show that is so consistently troubled and infamously has an extremely mixed reception cannot be fucking ended despite all indications to the contrary. THIS is a mega folder containing literally everything rwby-related that is available right now on roosterteeth (+v9). rwby, fairytales, world of remnant, the grimm campaign, ice queendom (sub and dub), vtubing, all the behind-the-scenes stuff. everything.

plus soundtracks for every volume + IQ, and drm-free epubs.

i will add any additional rwby content released during the wind down period as it becomes available. V1-8 have an english subtitle track embedded in the files, V9 does not because it came from CR. IQ dub has english subtitles. and for the sake of completeness i pulled all the non-english subs available on CR for V1-9 as well, those are in there as loose .ass files for the time being.

whenever possible, buy physical media. learn how to strip drm out of digital content that you own and make it a habit to do so.

Just read your rwby roadtrip fic and I'm on the floor, what a beautiful piece of writing. I hope you're doing well.

thank you so so much. i'm so glad you enjoyed it!

back when i first started writing it four years ago, i was at a very different place in my life. i was so fascinated with the idea of traveling to a new place, rediscovering the world through a new lens, and finding the people that were meant to shape and stay in your life forever.

(i was also very much more active on this blog then than i am now, but that point is less important.)

throughout the years, i've been rereading it occasionally every few months. every comment i've received about how the fic touched them and how they remember it still has a special place in my heart! it's the landmark of one of my first contributions to fandom spaces after so long just absorbing everyone's content. i'm still proud of it to this day.

thank you (again) for letting me ramble in the response to your ask, and i'm so very glad you enjoyed it. who knows, maybe i'll get around to writing a sequel! at the very least, i think i'll go back and touch up the fic a little bit. i still love the original feel of my old writing, done by a person that was so very in love with and excited by the world and the connections that tied us all together.

i'm still in a constant state of rediscovering that love in new ways. i'm glad that my younger self shared something like that with my fic, and i hope you (and everyone who has read it) are doing well, too. :)
