What does it take for you to feel great in a costume?

Normally, I like very strong characters....I think Lilith is (from what little we know), but I think for me with Lilith, the make up was too pale and the wig was too yellow. The colors made me feel Not Great in it. But that's okay, not every costume is a home run! I love women with horns as well LOL

Progress, & the future! I’ve FINALLY been cooking away on a personal project that I’ve been planning & collecting supplies for for ages, now! It’s not a cosplay based on anything in particular, just something I wanted to make 💜 I have a few cosplays I’m wrapping up this year, and I’m reshooting some of my existing favorites as well, but overall I’m moving into just doing original designs that inspire me instead of just cosplays!

Details on Sarah’s Gown ✨💜 I loved making this commission so much! The customer requested we shift the colors from Sarah‘s slightly yellowish gown into more pinks and lavender, and I think it turned out like a dream!

I don’t know if you can see the holographic colors in the fabric in the video, but it’s so pretty in person! These leggings are not half done, but I’m so happy to have a little progress I can share—I’ve been working away on a personal costume (not a commission). I have SEVERELY underestimated how heavy the final project will be to wear, though!

New Commission: Sonic themed jacket & accessories! This was a design where the customer brought me a sketch of what they wanted, and I brought it to life! Light wool and faux leather, all of the patches are handmade!

Modern suggestions? It’s no secret that my millennial heart will always love the old school anime/cosplays, but sometimes I think I should do something more recent. I’m open to suggestions, I’ve done a few over the past couple of years but I’m super out of the loop on what’s good right now, or especially what new characters might suit me?

Do you have a costume you love, but HATE posting? Im getting my Lady Death out for a new shoot soon, and that’s where I’m at. I love this cosplay, I’m proud of it and even though I hate body painting, I like wearing it. And yet every single time I post it, the men of the internet come out in droves to pick my body apart. It’s almost always the worst on FB, & while I delete the comments most of the time, it’s ridiculous and exhausting. No other costume gets a reaction like this. 🙃 I wish I could just delete FB entirely, but I do get lots of business from it. For whatever reason, the dregs of the internet seem to lurk there. Too much time on their hands, and definitely not enough attention from women, it seems. BUT new pics of Lady Death coming soon, I hope! 📷 @rob.somers.fit

New Commission: Ironmouse! I've been getting a fair amount of VTuber commissions, as of late! I feel like I could remake this gown in so many different styles, it's so cute and there's so many ways I could translate bringing it to life. For this, the skirt has quite a few layers (six or seven, I think? Not including the petti?? I can't remember!), the inside being a pretty silvery white brocade. There's a layer of sheer light fabric with pearls and lace trim, then satins, and a beaded layer with lace trim, crystals, airbrushed lavender gradient. The bodice and sleeve are layers of taffeta and a lavender lace over it, with bead and pearl accents, lots of crystals! Matching shoes, with tights in glisinette and lace/crystal accents. Lots of blue glass teardrop accent gems! I can't wait to see the client in the full costume!

New commission: Cleopatra of Shin Megami Tensei! I really enjoyed making the jewelry parts of this, they look like candy to me ❤️ The leggings are sheer with the metallic gold patterning stitched on, and there’s gold bikini bottoms for security!
