Types of Industrial Pollutants
Yes. There are types.
Okay so I got the information from this website because-
No.1 - I am too lazy to use my brain write now.
No. 2 - They are very accurate.
Anyway, here are the types of Industrial Pollutants:-
Air Pollutants (Lemme Breathe)
The image of smokestacks belching black, noxious fumes into the air often comes to mind when people think of industry. While visible air pollutants are dangerous, industrial processes also create invisible gasses that can pollute our air supply. Carbon monoxide is a colourless, odourless, tasteless gas used in the production of polyurethane and other plastics. Even "light" industry can emit toxic gasses; dry-cleaning plants, for example, use perchlorethlyene, a chemical linked to liver damage, skin irritation and respiratory failure. Perchloroethylene can leak into the atmosphere when dry-cleaner workers transfer clothes from the washer to the dryer and when the dryer exhaust is vented into the air outside.
Water Pollutants (Stop you are harming the fishies)
Industrial processes can also contribute to water pollution. Since many industrial methods use fresh water for various purposes, industrial facilities must dispose of the toxic runoff from these methods. The runoff frequently flows into other fresh water sources, such as rivers, lakes and groundwater wells, which local residents use for drinking and bathing. Phosphorus runoff from fertilizers used by farmers near Lake Champlain in Vermont prompted the Environmental Protection Agency to react to water pollution problems there in 2015 –and the cleanup is still in progress.
Toxic Waste (Seriously, hazardous to our healths)
Many industrial processes also produce waste products that can have devastating effects on the health of those exposed to them. Toxic waste can be difficult to recycle and poses serious problems for disposal. Such waste products can include substances that pose biological hazards, risk exposure to radioactivity or contain chemicals that can contaminate soil and water supplies. An ongoing river dredging project in New York's Hudson Valley seeks to remove soil contaminated with toxic PCBs, or polychlorinated biphenyls, generated by a General Electric plant
Noise-Related Industrial Pollution (I am too sensitive to sound)
Industrial pollutants are not strictly limited to the solid, liquid and gaseous states of matter. Industrial processes can also cause loud noises. Noise pollution occurs when the sounds of industrial tasks impair the hearing of workers, bystanders or residents in nearby neighbourhoods. Twenty-four percent of those with hearing difficulties suffered after they were exposed to occupational noise pollution. Local residents can also be affected by noise pollution from machinery, safety alarms and heavy truck traffic at industrial facilities.

Conversation
A completely normal conversation
Me: Pollution is definitely not a problem.
Friend: ...
Me: The Earth is beautiful!
Friend: You okay?
Me: Let's all go spread carbon monoxide in the atmosphere! Tear the ozone layer apart!
Me: Let's go sight seeing, admiring the fragrant garbage in rivers! Garbage on land! Green water! Smell of fresh waste! Not to mention witNESSING ANIMALS CHOKING ON PLASTIC!
Me: *fuming*
Friend: Woah okay, take a deep breath. Deep. Breath.
Me: Oh yes! Let the nitrogen dioxide, sulphur dioxide, hydrogen sulphide, methane, and a whole lotta healthy gases in my blood! Why not!
Friend: *facepalm*
Industrialist: I've got an idea for the next product! It only requires a few thousand human labourers!
Friend: Oh no.
Me: *volcanic erruption takes place*

When all the saintly soil is washed away,
And the tears of homeless nature stains the landscape;
When the truth of the human hand in land degradation has nothing left to say,
And the Earth no longer has any escape.
Civilisation will curse its ancestors,
Begging for mercy from Earth's purge;
Life will cease to exist If the giving tree is not nurtured,
And Earth by humanity is no longer cared for.

Quote
We abuse land because we regard it as a commodity belonging to us. When we see land as a community to which we belong, we may begin to use it with love and respect.

Precisely.
It’s true that even in our daily life we can save a lot of resources, and it is important to learn the ways to do so, but guys,
Look at the bigger picture. Sure, these industries make our life easier and what not, but is it all really worth it at the cost of our ecology? It’s not about playing the blame game; it’s simply about awareness. The number of people pollution effects is in a comparable ratio to diseases like Malaria’s effects. And guess what, the number of the little creatures known as mosquitos is directly proportional to the amount of sewage waste generated since mosquitos need water to thrive and feed on microorganisms, which sewage certainly provides.

What causes Industrial pollution?
What. Oh don’t I love that question.
Anyway, to understand something, it is important to understand the root cause of it. Obviously.
Here are five key reasons for industrial pollution:
1. Got no laws to tame these polluters: Poor enforcement of laws has allowed many industries to not follow rules made for pollution, resulting in mass scale pollution.
2. Oh Industry! You’ve grown so much already: Unplanned industrial growth causes a large amount of pollution as there is no layout for how wastes and other materials should be handled.
3. Dear me, such modern tech (not): A large number of industries use outdated technology to produce high-end products which generates large amounts of waste. This is done to make their work ‘cost-effective’ (Yeah, tell me how cost effective it is when you start breathing in smoke).
4. Inefficiency to depart with wastes in a proper manner: Gases such as carbon monoxide is released through chimneys, causing air pollution. Often, wastes are disposed into water bodies, too, causing water pollution on a high degree. Wastes are also left to rot in open land spaces that are supposedly ‘scrapyards’

5. Pull it outta the ground: Industries require raw materials from beneath the ground, which is why soil is leached. This leaching causes soil degradation and deteriorates the quality of the soil.

What are you doing here?
Chillin’
Why?
‘Cause I want to.
Did you know that rapid industrialisation has led not only to economic development, but is a major contributor of the fascinating pollution in this world?
What-
Sulphur dioxide, Carbon monoxide, Nitrogen dioxide, and various other gases with a very pleasant fragrance!
What’s with the sarcasm-
Oh these pollutants! Degrading our environment! Water, air, soil and more!
Ok stop-
No no! Ignore pollution! Simply complain about it! Grow up to contribute in this deed of high morale!
Global warming! Smog! Such beauty everywhere! Yay!
...
Oh, they left.
But seriously, all of you, it’s important to be aware of the land pollution caused. You all might think that I’m saying this simply for this little project that I have to do, but pollution truly is very troublesome. I know, since my country’s pollution is at the next level, and I literally complain about pollution everyday. Peek outside my window, and you see the great buildings, along with the beautiful barren ground, pleasantly chaotic trees, and a scenic, polluted lake!
(Forgive me, I love sarcasm)
So here are two simple high-schoolers, bringing to you a blog about environmental degradation caused due to industrial pollution, because as much as you deny it, or run away from it, chemistry is an interesting subject, and pollution is an inevitable matter that has to be dealt with.
