For the first time in his life, Violet saw people who were not his family, and in such numbers. His father never said anything good about all those who were considered barbarians. Without letting go hands of his parents, he trembled like an aspen leaf and tried to shrink.

Suddenly the boy met the gaze of a man who was looking at him with interest. Violet was surprised to find that this man looked very much like himself, except for the shape of his nose, but most importantly, he was holding a lyre in his hands. A lyre!

«Wow!» — Violet admired, and his dark blue, like violets, eyes sparkled.

«Oh Teutates, there are TWO of them!» — exclaimed Fulliautomatix, noticing that Violet, who had jumped up to Cacofonix, was wearing a lyre on a strap around his neck.

«Sir, do you have a lyre? Are you a musician too? Can you sing something for me?»

«With pleasure, cutie Violet», — Cacofonix beamed, pleased with the sudden interest in his artwork. — «Nice to meet you. My name is Cacofonix. And you can call me by name, that's how we do it...»

«Nice to meet you», — Violet smiled.

— Ух ты! — восхитился Вайлет, и его темно-синие, как фиалки, глаза засияли.

— О Тевтат, их ДВОЕ! — воскликнул Фуллиавтоматикс, заметив, что у Вайлета, который подскочил к Какофониксу, на шее висит лира на ремешке.

— Дяденька, у вас есть лира? Вы тоже музыкант? Можете спеть что-нибудь?

— С удовольствием, милашка Вайлет. — просиял Какофоникс, обрадованный внезапным интересом к своему творчеству. — Рад познакомиться. Меня зовут Какофоникс. И можешь обращаться ко мне на «ты», у нас так принято...

— Очень приятно. — улыбнулся Вайлет.

This quiz was the best way to spend my break!

I did it three times: as my OC Abbi, as myself and as my other OC Violet.

Abbi doesn't like and doesn't hate Cacofonix's singing, but she will protect him because Cacofonix is very nice to her little brother Violet.

Cacofonix Quiz - Maybe It's Because He's Armorican

A good number of years ago I had a story quiz hosted on Quizilla called 'Maybe It's Because He's Armorican'. It was a story quiz focusing on Cacofonix and the quiz taker was new to the village. The idea was it gave you a bunch of questions and you had to answer honestly as yourself, or your OC and it would tell you what he thought of you.

Sadly, Quizilla is no longer around and that quiz was lost to the sands of time. So I decided to do an updated reworking of it! (See above link.)
