The Brutal sticks his tongue out in disgust and makes a light gagging noise “Eugh….Christ,Oi wouldn’t loike swimming in peoples waste……Oi don’t loike swimming at all to be honest”

It was true,Matthew hated swimming,hell he actually couldn’t swim.

“Because america! Because I can survive in these conditions, unlike those frou-frou tentaspies.” He mirrors the other, crossing his arms as well, his chest slightly puffed out. The truth was was that’s just how the Medic made him. His gills could adapt to any type of water, be it filthy or clear, though it would take some time for him to fully adjust. Also he’s silently hoping none of the other tentas heard him say that. 

He folds his arms across his chest and made a small huff “Noted…..also….how the bloody ‘ell can you….swim in the water….isn’t it sewage shit?”

“Alright! But I’ve got my eye on you, RED Scum!” He makes the ‘I’m watching you’ hand gesture. 

Matthew rolled his eyes at the other, Yep he was the same as all the others Soldiers…loud and to the point.

Zacharie eventually came across the note impaled to the concrete not long after he had caught a measly little fish. Pathetic little thing. Though he scarfs it down without further complaining before picking up the note and reading it. Mumbling to himself as he read it partially aloud with a nod here and there of understanding. “…’Please respond.’…” But how? 

Oh, wait! Maybe he could write in his own blood… Except he doesn’t have anything sharp. Hmm. Well there’s his teeth– of course! He facepalms before lifting said palm up to his mouth and biting into it enough to taste blood before taking a finger and dipping it in the blood. Carefully, he smears out the word ‘HELLO, FELLOW SPLICE. I MEAN NO HARM.’ on the back of the note before placing the note on the concrete. He floats there for a while, licking the blood from his hand before descending into the water once more.

Zacharie narrowed his eyes at the stranger, though it couldn’t really be seen with that helmet he always wore. “State your business, maggot!” He bellows.

The former Soldier said nothing as he watched the lady approach where he was only to sink back into the water when she got too close. His helmet floated in the middle of the sewer water, considering Zacharie forgot to put it back on, the only telltale sign that something was there, or used to be at least.

“A spy actually. I wanted to be an engineer, but they wouldn’t let me even though I am competent enough.”

“And I haven’t seen him since.” He swims up to the other, resting his arms on the concrete, then resting his head on its side on his arms while he looked up at the mercenary. 

“So what are you exactly? Class wise, I mean.”

He giggled a bit, amused.
