Alright heres my TTSBC headcannon you know that one Etho build thing?

I like to think that one of the avian trio made this in like,, arts and crafts one day and brought it home to Etho and Doc

And Etho had to just be like "oh that's great... looks just like me!"

Anyways there's my rambles lol

It's still sitting proudly on the bookshelf in their bedroom to this day, Doc and Etho still occasionally catch sight of it and have a chuckle about it XD

I feel like TTSBC is just its own friendly eldritch creature at this point that I feed weekly and it keeps evolving and then I blink and we’re over 600k 😅

In an earlier ask you said that hybrids were not used for potion making in TT, does that also include the more fantastical elements like blaze rods and ghast tears?

If those items are harvested from the monsters then they are used! But they wouldn’t be used if harvested from say, a blaze-born or a ghast hybrid!

No worries if this isn’t something you want to reveal, but how long do you think arc 2 will be compared to arc 1?

Just curious because if I have to endure years of my poor blorbos being separated I might die. But at least maybe I can prepare for my death! Put together a playlist for my funeral and all that. If you’re willing to share, that is.

IIIIIIIII dunno...sorry, I just can't really say, it's hard to pinpoint since I certainly wasn't planning Arc 1 to be THIS long, but I plan to be chipping away at it pretty steadily, so hopefully it won't take me tooooo terribly long! So I just kudos bombed you. I realized recently that I haven't kudos any of your fics so I wanted to go through and kudos them. When better to do that than after the first Arc finale. I was not aware however that you can only leave so many kudos at a time. I couldn't get into any fics there for a minute but it's fine now. 😅 I got half of TTSBC kudoed so I'll see if I get the other half done before I get slapped on the wrist again by A03. I just wanted to say I love your stuff! It's so well written. The first Arc finale was devastating but I'm excited to see what happens next! I was also wondering if your next fic would be in TTSBC or TT?

Your fics are one of the ways I pull myself out of rumination. They’re so consistently good that I feel all nice and comfy reading them. And the fact that TTSBC and especially TT touch on darker topics while emphasizing the importance of the bonds of love, and the characters are allowed to be messy and hurt each other then make up and forgive, it just makes me feel good. If they can forgive each other, I can forgive myself. So uh, thank you! TTSBC and TT are my favorite fic series I have ever read, and they mean a lot to me. <3

Sorry, just to clarify: if arc 2 of TTSBC is named "Bedrock", what was the first arc's subtitle?

Thats a GREAT question...

I don't think it really has one? XD As insane as it sounds, the entire first Arc was setting up everything for Bedrock so I never really considering it needing a subtitle, whereas I figured Arc 2 NEEDED on to differentiate it from the first chunk of the story, so...it could be 'Pretty Boy'? It could be 'Sunshine'? If anyone else has any ideas tho I'd love to hear them!

On the whole, the TT cast is significantly younger than the TTSBC cast, which I think is interesting! I didn't really do that on purpose, that's just kind how it shook out! I do think its interesting tho that of the main cast of TTSBC, the youngest members would be Jimmy and Tango who are both 29 turning 30, and then over here in TT no one is even 30 yet and the youngest member of the main cast is Etho at 19 turning 20! Neat!

Amy I just finished Bedrock and I hope my tears serve as fuel for writing future instalments of TTSBC. I am *distraught*

Idk which separation was the worst and I'll refrain from specifics for the sake of spoilers but DUDE!!! My last rambly ask was all about how much I love all the ships and one fuckin fic later and there's been casualties 😫😭

Anyways, all complaining aside masterful writing as always. I always commend an author for the ability to write emotionally moving characters with enough depth to make someone cry. You fid a marvellous job with Bedrock and I'll be waiting with baited breath for more plot🩵🩵🩵

Also I wanna see more of Cleo and Bdubs as well as Joe, and maybe Oli. I think the crumbs of plot and lore we've got for all of them are so intriguing. Accidental Mom Cleo has my heart.

AWWWWWH Thank you so much! I'm so glad you've enjoyed my work so much even tho it caused some tears, but that was part of the point with Bedrock sadly...we gotta hit a wall at some point in order to climb over it! (eventually) :P

I plan to have more of EVERYONE in Arc 2, some more than others of course, but I always try to keep everyone as relevant as I can, it's hard in a series with this many named characters, but everyone is still here, so I wanna do what I can!

More Cleo and Bdubs especially is on the way in the first half of Arc 2, so please look forward to it!

Okay so ik I’ve already sent in some asks about Bedrock but I just realized something

The crack in the bedrock that Jimmy would look out of as a kid is closed, isn’t it? If it is I’m so freaking sad THAT WAS SOMETHING THAT GAVE HIM HAPPINESS AND HOPE FOR YEARS AND NOW ITS GONE. THEN IT WAS SCOTT THAT GAVE HIM HOPE ANS HAPPINESS AFTER THAT BUT NOW HES GONE TOO 😭😭💔💔

Reading „Bedtime Stories“ had me reread „Feathers and Flares“, and I came across the scene, where Etho wares up and sees the children all just staring at him, and I just had the mental image in my head of Jimmy, Pearl and Grian looking like these baby owls and looking at Etho like that.
