(TTSBC) Im thinking about grandma major visiting the new apartment and meeting Jimmy no getting a tour and they get to the HAMMOCK in the bedroom instead of a bed and she just…looks at it. Looks at them. Looks at the hammock.

“I don’t want to begin to know how that works.” Like will they realize a few hours before she visits that wait, there is no visible physical way for us as humans to get in that hammock, she’s gonna be confused And think we’re freaks

I would just like to say how unbelievably happy it makes me that I have apparently done such a good job of worldbuilding in TTSBC that everyone immediately clocked this specifically as the problem in the most recent chapter of "Beaded Beloved".

I won't go into detail on what I mean in case anyone hasn't read the new chapter yet but just.

Thank you all for having such good reading comprehension skills and then proceeding to screech about it at me in the comments. I know it seems like a tiny detail but this has absolutely made all the work feel so worth it, everything I've put into making the AU make sense and trying to make the Under-City a place that has rules that apply and matter and connect across the different stories so yeah.

He's from the undercity so I have a good guess on why he gets one but who's in danger?

Also more serious question, what's the reasoning behind zed's eye colour, cause while it's great for the character design purple eyes are not very human or at least very rare so I was just wondering

Cub has a gun. That's all you need to worry about 😛

Zed's eyes are purple because they're purple on his skin, that's all! If you look at his skin and most fanart of him, he has purple eyes, so that's apart of his character design! He's 100% human I swear!

realistically I'm expecting tango or possibly cub(?) being the one to save him, but also. I'm just imagining doc finding out somehow that tango intends to go into the depths and just. going in his stead. that would be one hell of a way to be introduced to doc

I love all the theorizing I'm seeing! Ooo Doc going to deal with it would be epic, but tbf in that scenario I feel like the one to go would be Etho 😆 Doc is terrifying looking but he's actually not much of a fighter...he's the brains of the operation, Etho is the one with a knife, and he knows how to use it!

Tho Zed getting introduced to his future father-in-law by the man busting in to save him from a kidnapping would be fantastic 😭

if ttsbc!tango were to do a handstand would his hair go toward the sky cause like fire always goes up or towards the ground cause gravity?

I think it would depend on how hot is flares are! If only the tips of his hair are on fire, they'd still hang down with the rest of his hair, but if his whole head was flaming then they'd probably go upward like any other sort of flames would! 😅

Hermit-A-Day May! 🎉

Thought I'd throw it out there that I'm planning to participate in @hermitadaymay this year! I've started working on my fics for it already, I've got the first 8 days done, and I'm very excited!

This is going to be cool because all of my fics for this event are going to take place in either Sky-Blue Cracks or Traveling Thieves! That's right! All the Hermits everywhere, they're gonna be showing up in the AUs somewhere or another! All of the fics are gonna be more or less world-buildy, not like super directly plot related as far as I planned it, but who knows what's gonna happen maybe someone might be like HEY NO GUESS WHAT I AM PLOT-RELEVANT NOW 😆

It's also for a great cause, a fundraiser for Gamers Outreach! The Hermits did so amazing raising money for them during the charity livestream, so lets see if the fandom can raise even more money for the event! There's also some really cool milestone goals the wonderful organizers for this event as well as @rendiggitydog and @belmarzi will be doing!

So place your bets! Who's gonna be saying hello from the Under-City? Who's also been traveling the Old Continent? And who owns that cute coffee shop near campus where everyone keeps confessing to each other?
