Okay sometimes I wonder if Odin told Thor that Loki is Jotun. I'm ignoring Thor: Ragnarok for this because I don't like the way they handled that. But in Avengers Loki says something about Thor surely knowing his heritage, and Thor does say that Loki is adopted. But never once does Thor refer to Loki as not Asgardian. And since we all know Odin has a brilliant reputation of honesty, part of me wonders if Odin just said that Loki "fell apart because we adopted him as an infant and never told him." Why would Odin lie to Thor about this? It does not help Loki's image at all. It makes Loki look crazy and ungrateful that Odin raised him as his own. Obviously Odin was still in the wrong in a world where Loki was Asgardian but never told he was adopted (child psychologists say that can mess someone up and recommend telling children around 8 that their adopted), but that is a very different problem from kidnapping the heir of another kingdom and raising him as Asgardian without him ever knowing. I don't know, I think Odin maybe lied to Thor to try to seem more sympathetic in Thor's eyes. And Thor just never talked to Loki about what happened so he never found out.

This is incorrect. I know this is just a post, I know it is not true and this would never happen, I know this is made for shits and giggles

but would not happen in Japan.

reasons:

is shigaraki even a citizen? Japan has a law of blood, however not soil like in the US. Meaning, if his parents are from Japan/a citizen, which they are, he is one.

But, considering his crimes, does he have his citizenship revoked? Man has committed 95 acts of terrorism, murdered/was an accessory of over 184K people, and 11 war crimes. (took that from Reddit. don't know if it entirely true). Most likely more. Can he lose his citizenship from this? .... Yes.

2. does Japan even allow you to make a phone call like the US does? No. Quoting, it bluntly says "Arrestees are not allowed to make phone calls."

Thinkin bout Loki, the perpetual emo who is perpetually Going Through It™️, having a chat with Thor post-Thor 1 about how "you don't know who I am! I barely know, myself!" And Thor trying so hard to get Loki to see that his identity changing doesn't mean their relationship has changed; he's still his brother and Thor still loves him, whether he's from Asgard or Jotunheim or wherever else

But Loki, in all his angst, refuses to see that because he won't look at himself the way his brother does. He still looks at himself as the monster parents tell their children of at night, the nasty thing under the bed, the horrible little creature everyone hates. He's so consumed by his new identity and the fact that he thinks he finally sees why everyone's treated him different his whole life, so he forgets the millennia he spent as being anything but a monster.

But Thor doesn't.

He tries so hard to get Loki to see himself the way he does. As his brother and best friend and someone who definitely does belong there. And yeah, they argue about it a lot. They're both stubborn and completely set on getting the other to see their view and nothing else.

So, Loki makes a show of it. He tries to play a game he knows Thor can't win—making an army of exact duplicates of himself and telling Thor to guess the real Loki on the first try. He thinks he's being clever. He thinks he'll win. After all, Thor always falls for this, even when it's just a single duplicate. Surely, he doesn't stand a chance to find the right Loki in a room of 50 of them.

Imagine the pure shock on his face when Thor doesn't hesitate in picking the right one.

"That only works on me when I'm turbulent, brother; with a clear head, I would find you every time. I know you better than you think."

And Thor's got the patience to prove his point. Loki makes him do it again and again and again and again, each time with a larger number of duplicates. And every time, without fail, Thor picks right on the first try.

Because you can't spend a millennia with your little brother and have that bond washed away just because he's adopted. That kind of love and friendship doesn't just vanish overnight, and it wouldn't vanish unless Loki did something really wrong. Like, worse-than-Thanos wrong, because look me in the eye and tell me Thor would not go to the ends of the universe to forgive his brother before ever letting the hate taint him.
